Making him an an Authorized Signer on the account might be helpful some day....
Fruitcakes in the kitchen
Fruitcakes on the street
Struttin' naked through the crosswalk in the middle of the week
Half-baked cookies in the oven
Half-baked people on the bus
There's a little bit of fruitcake left in everyone of us
I was just minding my own business and the the next thing I know I'm the same age as old people….

Absolutely agree!! My sister and I did that with my parents accounts before they lost all faculties. Probably a few more years.
After my mother died, my father changed all of his accounts to make me the joint account holder. He also gave me power of attorney. This was all done in 1989 so when he went into assisted living in 2011, everything was already taken care of.
The occasion was the ceremonial groundbreaking for Margaritaville Vacation Residences Myrtle Beach, a 271-unit, resort-style residential community in Arcadian Shores.
Had a hair cut this morning and will head to a neighbor who is a licensed estetician to get my eyebrows "done". With blonde hair and the southern sun my eyebrows "disappear" very quickly .
A couple from our PA church moved here about 10 years ago. We visited with them 2x before we moved here and have kept in touch although we don't see them very often. We are heading to their house for dinner tonight.
Other than this EXCITING info there's nothing going on here (well, 2x yesterday the 2 yr old from across the street got out and was more than 6 houses away -- walking down the middle of the street - before a "new" to these events neighbor, took him back home -- both times). We got Patty, the older lady who can barely walk, on our ring at 7:45 am. She was in her robe & barefoot looking around the pond -- we figure she was looking for another escapee (who didn't show up on our cameras). And the beat goes on.

When we had to take over Kevin's mom's accounts the bank added him as a co-owner rather than a signator. That way he only had to pay Pennsylvania inheritance tax on the 50% of mom's half that he received. If he was just a signator it would have been 100%.
