Good morning Penny.

I went downstairs to throw my garbage out and it's raining again. Not very hard, it's the kind of rainfall that if you're driving somewhere you would only need the wipers on intermittent. I don't have anything to do today so I wouldn't mind if it kept raining all day, it might help with the drought.
what I really mean . . . I wish you were here

Good morning, Larry. We had a decent amount of rainfall last night. Not enough to catch up on drought conditions here, either. But nice.

Good morning Penny and Larry!
I'm doing a little gardening today. Moving the last of the King Corals to bigger pots, and then I'll try to get some writing done. :D
Jerry...from Massachusetts. I'd like to go where it's warm! :D

Hi there! We made an hour long round trip to Home Depot for plants which means more work for me, but not today.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

Bill, you and Jerry have the gardening thing going. :D

I'm off to my sisters today, instead of tomorrow, to pick up fresh Palisade peaches (Colorado's Western slope). :D YUM!!

I'm headed to The HomeAwayFromHome Depot to buy some dirt. That pretty much describes the excitement in my life.....
Edit: To add to the excitement, MrsSPH had me get a couple of toilet brushes while I was at HAFHD.

Kids got here close to 7 last night. The little guy Lincoln was raring to go. I thank God for his reason for old people to not have children. We spent 2 hrs at the pool while it was intermingle dripping. We were the only 6 there.

Brandon and Deanna are at the grocery store. Lincoln is napping and all is quiet. Austin and I will be playing checkers in a bit.

Enjoy the rest of your day.

Good late afternoon, BNers!

Another gorgeous day here... mid-70s and dry... a nice change from the heat, humidity or torrential downpours we seem to have been see-sawing between the past few weeks!

I messed up last night and did not stream the Coral Reefer show... I thought they were going to broadcast the Saturday show this weekend, not Friday. Oh well, from what I read on the BN FB page, it was a good show and included a nice tribute to Robert.

Penny - glad to see you were able to postpone your jury duty... and I'm sure your sister was even happier!

Bill - so just one more day of cold water? YAY!

Linda - enjoy your company!

Afternoon Mr. SPH, Linda and Elaine! :)

Back home from picking up peaches from my sisters. When I left I noticed a huge cloud that looked like it was raining somewhere. Well, that somewhere was right overhead of our apartments. I had to flip the wipers to super fast. :o I WAS going to pick up my mail, but I'll do that tomorrow. It was a nice/heavy, although quick, rain.

Time to figure out something to eat.. besides peaches. ;)

Hi kids!

Spent most of today up in the thumb of Michigan for a family funeral. Sad reason to gather, but it was nice to see everyone again . It was a nice sunny day and low 80’s, so driving the back roads (seems to be the only kind around those parts) was nice with the windows down. Sure was nice to revisit the farm lands that were the back drop to my childhood.

Glad to hear you guys are getting some rain. We could use more here as well. For what it’s worth, my trip to Home Depot was on Friday morning… 😄 needed more Japanese beetle traps and considered more plants.

The CRB show was wonderful to listen to last night. I sat on the back patio and enjoyed it. Hopefully my neighbors weren’t too irritated with me 😄 I kept inching the volume up on the speaker as the concert went on.
well, ummmmmmm, yah, I guess I better come up with something witty to put in this spot since everyone is reading it.......

I swear Japanese beetle traps drew in more than they killed.

Luckily I don't have to deal with traps of any kind. :)

I have a dumb question. Do you guys open radiomargaritaville to listen? If not, where/what? I'd like to listen to one of the shows. :)
