Figs are an acquired taste. :D But over the years, when I had them, I liked them. I can see why people don't like them, tho.

At least it was before Buffett, Bill. ;)

I'm off to sit on the couch in my living room, or on the patio, for a bit. (Laptop stays in my bedroom/desk). :) G'night all.

Rabz? What does mallee-scrub mean?
Mallee is an arid climate shrub. Hardy, prickly, low growing and hard to kill. The dried roots make fantastic charcoal and firewood.

There are vast areas of mallee, it's one of signs of getting into the Australian outback.

Scrub is a term used to describe areas of land that are difficult to navigate on foot - due to the vegetation. It used to be a pejorative term but is now widely used as a term for the bush or the forest.

So mallee-scrub is decribes the semi-arid areas where the mallee typically grows.

Rabbitz - I hope your new ute gets to your dealer soon!

There are not enough charging places here to make me comfortable buying a full EV... but the hybrid I drove as a loaner was tempting...
We live a four or five hour drive from some of the best semi-arid and mallee-scrub camping in the country. Spectacular ranges and breathtaking views. The area is known as the Flinders Ranges. However there are exactly zero charging stations for hundreds of miles. That is why we decided on the hybrid. At least we can get petrol (gas) out there!

This is one of the station stays that we go to: https://mernmernastation.com.au/gallery/
Ah... that makes perfect sense now... I saw Plug-in and thought of a full-on EV like the several Teslas in our neighborhood... of which ALL are 2nd cars!

And that place looks fabulous!!

Sorry I missed this yesterday...
Bitterness is definitely the biggest part because I don't mind some milk chocolate, like the European creamy kind, but I abhor dark chocolate! [smilie=puker.gif]
But also because my Mom was a chocoholic and had Hershey's in the house at all times... those are just gross, and that totally turned me off!

Same here!
I would give most of my Halloween candy to my Mom, unless they were Reeses; the Peanut Butter compensated for the chocolate, which was also a milkier variety to boot.

As to Easter... I made do with jelly beans (especially the black one (but I had to battle my Dad for those  ) Peeps, and the occasional WHITE chocolate bunny!
