Doctor appointment at 10:00 this morning. Happily it's only 10 minutes away.

Cameron started his job 15 years ago today! I'll probably stop by his store for a couple of things on my way back home.

Supposed to be 97 again today, but looking at a chance of good rain later in the week.

Daughter Bridget, her husband Andrew & Grandson Eli are here. Their flight was right on time so we came back & hade make your own subs/hoagies for dinner then played several rounds of "Pass the Pig".

Back from the blood doc, and I have to do one more phlebotomy on Thursday, then not again for a YEAR!! My levels look good, and I've been doing this for a year now with good results!

Hi Kids!

Sounds like lots of wonderful family news today! Bummer about the rain, Bill—we could use it here in Michigan. We got some rain last night, but not enough to make much difference. We could use a solid day and night of steady rain. I cut grass for the first time in about four weeks just to knock down the weeds that sprouted with the last rain.

Today is my last day of summer vacation-back to work tomorrow, although it is only a few days a week until after Labor Day. I love being able to set my own calendar so I have no Friday work days in August and a few weeks of three day weeks. Helps to get back into the swing of things.

It was hot today (87), but low humidity. Currently sitting on the front porch while the doggo sniffs and does dog things. I do love these kinds of evenings.

Hiya Mel! Sounds like a good evening. We got to 93 today, but as almost always, low humidity... again, like 20%

Good luck on the return to work, I'm glad you're setting your own schedule.
