Time To See The World TUESDAY @ the MSC
Good morning BN. I'd like to see more of the world, but mostly this continent.
I heard Pascagula Run and thought of the title. Most dive bars I've seen were more depressing than crazy fun spots.

If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

Good morning Bill and BN!
Glad I didn't have access to the Broncos game, they got beat by KC by 21.
Not much happening here today, once again.
Have a good Tuesday!!

Good morning Bill and Penny.
I was in a dive bar called The Tattooed Moose once, there was a stuffed moose head on the wall. I drank a Moosehead with my burger because they didn't have Moose Drool, a very good brown ale from Montana.

It's cool and there's a chance of showers here, just another day in the life....
I've always liked this song, but it seems like he stumbles on the words in every live recording I've heard.

Cool here, too. Right now only 59 degrees. But not much of a chance for rain, but Weds-Sat there is.SeattleParrotHead wrote: September 15, 2026 12:43 pm It's cool and there's a chance of showers here, just another day in the life....

So, I decided to clean off most of my wooden surfaces today. It wasn't TOO bad.

Moose meat is marvelous!

That sounds REALLY good to me.LIPH wrote: September 15, 2026 3:02 pm
It's 2 smash patties, bacon, pepper jelly, fried jalapenos and cream cheese. I was a little hesitant about cream cheese on a burger but it was really good.

I've never had moose meat.
Larry - I quoted your post in response to Debbie, and ended up editing it instead of quoting it.

Re: Time To See The World TUESDAY @ the MSC
A beautiful day here... sunny, dry, and in the 70s.
Too bad I had to spend a lot of it dealing with a "cabinet fiasco"
The bracket holding the pull-out shelf that holds most of my CorningWare stuff broke as I went to get a bowl out.
Amazingly, only one piece broke, probably because the rest sort of slid onto the tile floor after hitting my shins!
So all the pieces are now on my dining room table. I unscrewed the bracket and went out in search of a replacement...
The local kitchen place was able to ID the company for me and suggested I go online, as they no longer use that type of "mechanism" (the cabinets are 30 years old) in the cabinets they create. Back at home, I did just that... but it seems even the company may not have old stock either...
They asked for photos, which I sent... fingers crossed they find one that will fit. Otherwise, I will be channeling my late father and Rube Goldberging it back together, and relegating the pieces I don't use very often to the basement!
So that was MY day!
Believe me, I would have much preferred to be out to lunch drinking Moosehead... my favorite Canadian brew.
That would be a real treat, actually, as it is really hard to find around here.
Mr.SPH - thanks again! And I have to say, that is a rare clip... JB in jeans! It must have been nippy out!

Ohhhhh, Elaine!!!
What a FIASCO!!! I'm so glad only ONE thing broke. Good luck with the search, I hope you find what you are looking for!!
It's now 69 degrees outside, and I'm grateful my A/C didn't run all day for the first time in months. Nice to have windows open all day.
Still watching "Extreme Makeover-Home Edition" from many years ago, and most episodes bring me to tears.
