Have a few small chores today, nothing crazy. Mostly tidying up a few things.
Mid 70's today, and a slight chance of rain. Right now it's in the low 60's.
Have a good Thursday!!

Looking forward to you checking your Cam between sundown tonight & sun up tomorrow to see what kind of activity took place during that period.SeattleParrotHead wrote: September 17, 2026 1:19 pm We're having a stretch of beautiful weather here, I love the Autumnal glow the we get this time of the year.
We might be getting a new roof soon, when I got up this morning there was a porta potty (a"Drain-Pro" actually) in the street in front of my house.
I checked my Ring Doorbell cam history and see that it was delivered at 4:45 this morning!
Appreciate the PSA Larry. May be the right time to search out a great burger.LIPH wrote: September 17, 2026 11:34 am Good morning Penny.
My clock radio was a little more than 1/2 hour fast last night. I reset it before I went to bed and when I woke up this morning it still had the right time. Maybe I'll hold off getting a new one.
Public service announcement - tomorrow is National Cheeseburger Day. Plan accordingly.

Is this a college football reference??Dr.Corona wrote: September 17, 2026 4:10 pm Also, sorry to hear you're having those time issues with your clock radio.
Here in Michigan our issue is normally having our clock radios being ONE SECOND SLOW! or fast, depending upon your allegiance.IYKYK

I know some breweries here that are owned by out of state owners. I could never figure that out.LIPH wrote: September 17, 2026 4:37 pm They must have a lot of confidence in their employees if they never show up to see how things are going.

Unfortunately, it's right on the periphery of the cam, and the door is on the far side, so I probably won't see anything.Dr.Corona wrote: Looking forward to you checking your Cam between sundown tonight & sun up tomorrow to see what kind of activity took place during that period.

SeattleParrotHead wrote: September 17, 2026 6:58 pm Also unfortunately, the biopsy results are back and I have another incidence of Squamous Cell Carcinoma in my left leg. It's nothing new; I have several scars on my legs from previous occurrences.... I'll be visiting my dermatologist for another scrape and burn session. The more troubling thing for me was the notification;, the clinic that I go to (Virginia Mason Clinic)(the same one that MrsSPH spent her last 34 years of nursing at) has "merged" with Franciscan Health and is installing all new systems. In the past, the doctor's office would call with test results... today I got a text telling me that I had cancer in my leg.About an hour later the doctor's office called......

The procedure isn't too bad (curettage and electrodesiccation); they'll anesthetize the area with a little shot of lidocain/epinephrine so I won't feel anything, but the smell is pretty bad. The spot will be painful for a few days until the hole heals up. Like I said, been there, done that, got the scars to prove it. This will be my fifth or sixth one, all on my lower legs.MsMod wrote:Does the procedure hurt a lot? And I'm not fond of a text to give you such unhappy news.![]()
