Today I'll be reviewing all of the documents I created for my Will, POA, and HIPPA, as I'm getting them notarized and witnessed tomorrow.
Didn't get the vacuum cleaner run yesterday, so I'll do that today.
Have a good Tuesday!!

Whoa.. I had no idea this stat actually occurs each year!!LIPH wrote: October 13, 2026 4:38 pm Tonight is the Frozen Frenzy in the NHL, all 32 teams are playing. I think there's one other day near the end of the season when they all play again.

I've had BOTH of those issues too, Larry.. Tho my donations haven't been for 40 years!!!LIPH wrote: October 13, 2026 5:40 pm That's happened before and there's always a bruise the next day. Today, nothing. Except for about 40 years worth of needle marks from whole blood and platelet donations.

I had UHC as one of my providers when I was working, and they always did a great job. I'm pleased they'll still be around.Caribbean Soul wrote: October 13, 2026 5:49 pm Penny - good news on your Medicare! I'm glad you can still keep UHC as a supplement... I understand that they are dropping a LOT of their Advantage plans, at least around here. Also what HIPAA documents did you prepare? That does not sound familiar to me, unless it is another name for the Health Care Proxy...

Ha! If you saw what comes out of the bottom when I clean it out in the spring, you wouldn't want to swim in it.
I'm glad you have had good experiences with UHC and can keep them. They don't have the best reputation here, due to frequent denials of service. It must be a regional thing.SMLCHNG wrote: October 13, 2026 5:56 pmI had UHC as one of my providers when I was working, and they always did a great job. And the HIPAA form I filled out (to be notarized and witnessed tomorrow at home) was so that Cameron and my sister can receive any and all of my medical information from doctors or hospitals.
That sounds awesome! I'm sure it was quite a project, but it must bring a lot of enjoyment now!bodypainter wrote: October 13, 2026 8:09 pm On the pond size, Elaine, it's 12 feet long and 7 feet wide with a rubber liner. The shape is 2 connecting circles with the larger circle area being 3.5 deep. We have goldfish and frogs. Anne searches the rocks and pond plants with binoculars to spot the frogs.

Actually the HIPAA form was the only one that didn't need notarizing.Caribbean Soul wrote: October 14, 2026 6:14 pm As to that HIPAA form... our doctors have that incorporated into our records; we did not need a separate notarized form. But that may be because we named each other, the whole spousal thing, which would not apply to Cameron or your sister. Our health care proxies do list a secondary authorized person in case both of us are incapacitated, which is our son.
