Just got Chicago tickets
I'm not really sure how or why, but I was just checking to see what would happen and I ended up getting 2 tickets for Aug 21st, Chicago. Sec. 102, Row G. I just got 7th row tickets. This is at 7:45 pacific time 3-19. Some of you looking for tickets may want to give it a try now.

Congrats, i have been checkin back and forth to see if i can better my seats, but all i ever get is the obstructed view seats, which they really are. Tweeter ( or as we call it out here the WORLD MUSIC THEATRE) had no idea what they were doing when they built it. Sure it can get 40,000 people in there, but just the way they created it makes the acoustics horrible.
Have fun at the show, Ill be there in the lawn

you will have a hard time , these pillars are HUGE. Everyone needs to know that this venue is not no small place. The Pavillion its self will fit about 20,000 people, unlike some other venues, where the whole place only fits 20,000-25,000. they WILL over pack the place. They always do for big concerts. Before they added to the lawn ( for the 6th time) at farm aid 97, at the time the capacity was only about 30,000. That night they had estimated that they sold over 35,000 tickets.

Gumby,
I do not beleive the seats are behind a pillar because they are within the first few rows of the section, however, they are approximately halfway accross the aisle. Are you saying I will not be able to see the stage at all? Sorry for being persistent, I just want to be clear on this. My seats are towards the front of Sec 105.
Thanks for your insight.

LastMango,
Don't worry...you'll see the stage and Jimmy. What you probably won't see is the back corner of the stage toward your seats. I've had seats in 101 and 105 before and you usually can't see either the horns or Nadirah and Tina depending on whose on which side of the stage.
Also, I have one extra ticket this year for 105 row E if you know somebody that wants it. (No more than face $)
