Yes, depending on sound program. Through spin dr which can xfer albums and tapes or outside anolg sources. What I do open real player and record through soundcard. Be prepared to reserve at least 1.5gb. If your memory is only 64 then keep open applications limited to avoid buffers. I only have phone connection but so far lucky at 32.5kps of no buffering. Broadband will be great to get better sound, but 32kps is fine also. So, if you record through soundcard via a program that can be found anywhere, just have to find the right one for you. Get one that can also burn to cd, so after converting the wav(streamlined) convert to mp3 to compress then save on cdrw for future use then burn to cd in cd sound format.

PHPaul - you ain't kidding about milking the basketball thing; he historically has a tendency to milk some of the publicity stuff; case in Point, he's still talkin' about the Jamaica Mistaica incident. As far as I'm concerned, he can talk about whatever he wants as long as he takes us to Margaritaville every now and then....

anyone want a copy of last years montessori benefit concert. It was a great show, Jimmy tells some great stories and does completely different songs from the norm. I prefer to trade but will accept b&P

Will, no problem, but please, I believe in recording the concerts for own use and memories and to turn on non-parrotheads. Since I buy new Buffett CD's I am against making money off other people's work or posting it on Napstar.

Jah, Im sure you can find it, like i said I just discovered I had the capabilty to record after having program for 6 months. So this is my second recording only. RM repeats shows during off road times. So I missed the Jones Beach recording and I was there. But I will look out for replays.

Can someone give some advice on finding old (70's/early 80's) shows? I've randomly come across two (San Fran in 74 and Minneapolis in 80), but can't seem to find any others.

yea, it is a really good video, he needs to come out with something more recent though. I think it would be nice to have a live cd with songs that aren't songs you know by heart, like knees of my heart and songs that on norms on the tour, but never get on the cd.

udson http://www.buffett.musicpage.com That site reopened in the fall after legal wrangling with Buffett. The site can only post shows prior to 1990. Beware, sample the audio 1st since most of the recordings are from audience.

Can anyone tell me why the pics are faster than the audio? I guess there is a delay with the audio. Just curious.

Jah u must have missed the montessori benefit show. It is a great two cd set with many stories and the theme of the 2000 show was "songs that aren't the ones you guys would kill me if i didn't play on tour"
