Hawaiian Music

Post by CalypsoCoog »

I just completed my Carribbean Collection (Well...not really), and I'm looking for some good Hawaiian music. Anyone out there have any ideas? I have some Israel Kamakawiwo'ole, Teresa Bright, and Hapa.

I don't know if you want traditional Hawaiian music, but I have always loved Alfred Apaka. He was inducted in 1995 into the Hawaiian Music Hall of Fame, although he died in 1960 at the age of 41. Besides songs like Sweet Leilani and Hawaiian Wedding Song, he had a couple of other songs I remember that I like: "Keep Your Eyes on the Hands" and "Hula Cop Hop".
