No more virgins?

Post by CaptainP »

Here's a thought.

I know that one of the big joys of a Buffett concert is to introduce a new member to the phlock....a Buffett Virgin!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here's the problem. They ALWAYS get hooked and want to go back. So every year there are more and more people who want to go to the shows, but there are never any more shows than there had been....now too many people just can't get tickets.

Maybe it's time to stop introducing new people to our world....sounds selfish, but it may be the only way to keep the fun alive!

No way! Introducing friends to Buffett just means that there are more people to party with the rest of the year.
Today is the tomorrow you spent yesterday worrying about. Was it worth it?

I am treating 7 of my fellow coworkers (all buffett virgins) to a treat tuesday night in houston. I don't think it can get much better than that. Matter of fact, i am heading in just a few minutes to take a few of them to Biloxi to see Jerry Jeff Walker. Jerry Jeff on Sunday, Buffett on tuesday, is there a much better way to pop your cherry? Well maybe if the woodlands would allow for tailgating, but Either way, I am sure we will have a blast.
I studied the life at sea, I studied the life in bars. Never passed my S.A.T.s so i thought I'd study extra hard.

I'm taking five to Dallas this year. Two are true phans...they've just never been to a show. The other three are REAL Buffett Virgins. Can't wait to see how much phun they have!!!

No way!!! I have only been to a few concerts, I enjoy going whenever I can. I'm in the process of converting my better half ( she's coming around ). Buffett is about having phun, being alive. It would be a shame to try and keep people out of this great phenomenon. Introducing Non-Parrotheads to Parrotism is part of the phun.

Think about it, we were all virgins at one time.

Good point! I was a Buffett virgin eleven years ago. What a tragedy to think that my friend could have been too selfish to introduce me to Jimmy's music!

I love introducing people to Buffett...I guess we pay the price and have the headache of trying to get tickets...and like a religion...we must try to get everyone "saved"...

Haha....thought I might get that type of reaction to this...just feeling y'all out.

Funny thing is, this might be the first year in a decade I haven't brought a virgin along myself! (There might be just one, he's not sure if he can get off work yet)

I was a virgin last year and vowed to bring virgins every year to the shows. Nothing beats the feeling and experience of that day. One of the people going with us this year has been down in the dumps lately and i think this will help to cheer her up bit. Buffett's music always does it for me!!!

I have 12 phriends going to Merriweather 8 of which are 100% virgins. The only sad thing is there is NO tailgating there. GREAT just my luck! Just hoping we we can find some phans along the side of the road somewhere.

I'm not sure what I enjoy more...Going to Great Woods to see Bubba, or seeing the look on a virgins face when they see the parking lot!

Okay, I admit I like going better, but that look is priceless. :D
