Jimmy's Parents

Does anyone know how JB's parent's health is doing these days? On his current "Captain and the Kid" he says that the Captain passed away about a month ago. I know that his dad had Altzheimers and he has my condolences. My dad passed away about 17 years ago and my mom (76) is in poor health but happy.

The captain and the kid is about his GRANDFATHER.

JB recently purchased some more land on the bay to build a new place for the folks, who need a little more care these days.

Yes Key is right, The Captain is his Grandfather , who was from Nova Scotia Canada....

It states in the MMIM booklet that his father is not doing too well these days and recording Captain and the Kid was an emotional experience. I know the song refers to his g'father but read about it in the booklet.

Also, his mother was at the show in Atlanta in February and she looked fine from where I was sitting.
