I got tickets

Post by RAGTOPMAN »

Well after being skunked by ticketmaster for the second year in a row I sucked it up and bought 2 tickets on ebay to thursdays Greatwoods show. Only had to puke up $200 for lawn seats. Not to beat a dead horse over the scalper thing, but how easy this would be to contol if when ticketmaster sold the tickets they put your last name on them and made them non transferrable or something like that. Anyway looking forward to the show.

not to beat the dead horse either, but i noticed on tweeter center's web site that lawn tix for ozzfest were $10.00! thats an all day event, with lots of major acts. not that i would want to go to ozzfest, i just think its ridiculous.

here's a different concept. sell tickets the day of the show. if you don't sell out, don't go back. move on to another venue the next tour.

hey ragtop once you are there on thurs you'll think it's the best 200 youve ever spent that and the knowledge that you have the tix in hand and can plan your partying AND it appears the Wino and I Know is a staple, can't miss that

Clear Channel, who runs almost all of the concerts put on now, Has done that for a lot of concerts that dont sell out. The only thing is they only sell like 200-500 tickets that way, and you MUST go to the VENUE on the day tickets go on sale to get that deal. And they usually limit you to only 2 tickets.
