Buffett at Merriweather and July 4....

Hey all...just moved to MD and will be attending my first JB show at Merriweather Post....what should I expect?..I heard tailgaiting there blows?

Furthermore, any locals got the scoop on JB's favorite area hang outs. It dawned on me that he will be in MD on July 3rd, the VA on July 5th...I live in Annapolis, and being the sailing capital of the US am hoping he will hang out here for July 4th...Ive heard he is a frequenter of Cantler's in Annapolis when he is in town....can anyone speak to this????

Hokie-- Merriweather both sucks and blows. If past years are an indication, Merriweather isn't kidding about what time the gates open. And once inside, no fun allowed. I'd recommend looking for preconcert festivities hosted by local clubs. The Cheasapeake and OC clubs are hosting a party. Check out http://chesapeakeparrothead.tripod.com/ ... cialevents.

BTW, welcome to Maryland. I grew up in western MD. It's a good place to live.

I have no idea where Jimmy will be between concerts, but I was thinking he may be spending it down in DC. I was thinking he was trying to be patriotic by being in the DC area over the 4th.

I havent been to a JB show in like 4 years when i saw in at the Meadows Hartford, but I never got down to a Merriweather show..Please let me know about what times the gates open and pre parties
