We're going to the tailgate, but we're leaving early before the show starts due to some....ummm, as auntie said, "limitations"

Must be approaching 50 or more...I feel very lucky to have seen JB since the mid-seventies, mostly all over Florida from Key West to Gainesville. I have fond memories of all the ones I can remember. Have tix stubs to a lot of them. Someone suggested a ticket stub graveyard page once where we could post some ticket stubs - still thinks it's a neat idea...

only 9 shows since 1988? you are not trying hard enough, or you have had a lot of kids to raise.jkortum wrote:I've been to 9 shows.. The first in 1988.... Been a fan since 1981.....
Do you people have jobs, kids????? How do you make it to multiple show a year????????
anyway, to make multiple shows, takes great planning, the kids are all growed up and on their own, and you plan for the saturday shows and make it a mini vacation. come to the vegas show in sept. you will have a great time.

26 Shows...First show 1994 in Houston; Last show 2003 Dallas
Didn't jump on the parrothead bus until I was 46 years old, but have enjoyed the ride since.
I have all the tickets stubs for those 26 shows; another question would have to be, how many shows I've listened to on RM?
and then how many times I have relistened to those shows.

You'll get to more shows, I've only been to about 12.
Just remember, it's not the number of shows you've been to,
it's how you partied once you got there!

I heard getting tickets for Vegas was impossible... What do you do for pre game plans in Vegas.. I might have to try to talk the misses into that....mason wrote:only 9 shows since 1988? you are not trying hard enough, or you have had a lot of kids to raise.jkortum wrote:I've been to 9 shows.. I actually found it quite easy to get my Vegas tickets and reservations.I heard getting tickets for Vegas was impossible... What do you do for pre game plans in Vegas.. I might have to try to talk the misses into that....
However, I made all my reservations and plans last week.
Got descent seats on the first level by calling the MGM directly,
instead of going through Ticket-bastard(as I refer to them).
Also got a great package deal to the MGM for three nights with round trip airfare for about $435.
And by the way, there's a fantastic pre-party at the MGM, it goes most of the day.
GO FOR IT, I'm sure you can still find tickets if you try.
Happy Hunting!
