Sat. nite concert was really, really great. (Thurs. nite crowd was more subdued.) Jimmy seemed really happy to be home and always seems to be more at ease and have alot phun in So. Florida. I guess the fact that touring is now over also contributes to the mood. The warm weather is also a big factor and the venue is surely a great way to perpetuate the tropical feeling. Certainly beats MSG in Feb.!!!! His voice was strong and he was having a ball. Saturday night Cameron and Delaney were on stage left with a bunch of their classmates, singing and dancing all night. The kids were having a ball and were fun to watch. Oh! to be in kindergarten again - especially in Cameron's class !!! Friday night the PH's for the Palm Beaches put on a "Tween the Concerts Concert" which was the highlight of the weekend because is was a real treat. About 250 PH's attended the private party. There were people from all over - they seemed to phlock once the news went out over the coconut telegraph !! I met people from the West Coast, Gerry from Michigan, Brenda Braley from R.I. (now living in Key West). It was good to see old friends. The featured performers were Peter and Jim Mayer, Scott Kirby and Mac McAnanlly. Mac was my personal favorite. I had never seen him on his own before and he was really great. He chatted between songs, telling little anecdotes, etc. He is very amusing and I could not help but think he is really very much like Jimmy. Among other songs, we were treated to "In the City", "Its My Job" and "Semi True Stories". Awesome!!! Peter played alot of songs from his new album being released this week. (The name has escaped me at the moment (Too much Tequila or not quite enough). Sorry, Meg! Scott did an hour of music - alot from "Walking on Thin Ice." About 10 PM the doors opened and who walks in but Fingers, Tina Gullickson and TC Mitchell. If the party wan't rocking before, it really did from then on. They were having such a great time- really enjoying the small venue. Fingers played his heart out on that harmonica and we were treated to a truly magical evening!! We can't thank them enough. These fellows, plus Tina, are really special !!

Review : Wow, what a show. The only downside was I was in the lawn and during It's my job, i heard the guy in front of my lean over to his signifigant other and say "Sounds like it's from his new album" the funny thing was that this guy looked like Hemmingway. Great set, great vibe except that weren't really that meany true parrot heads that couldn't afford the scalpers front row price. Jimmy sounded great, warm fuzzy vibe, just wished I could have gotten outta there in time to pull down one of the carona banners, but there was no way I was missing the lasst song. Another thing I didn't get to hear the xtended version of M'ville.

Review : I headed to West Palm Beach from the West Coast of Florida highly anticipating another great weekend at a live Jimmy Buffett concert. I stopped to buy the new Margaritaville Tequila at my local store, and although they had it they couldn't sell it to me because it hadn't been priced yet.So I opted for the Jose Cuervo to mix margaritas in my portable blender. It must have been good, if I could remember, because this is the first time in fifteen years I've attended a Buffett show that all I could do was lay in the back of my truck and listen to the show because I was too far gone to stand up and make it inside the gates. So from my vantage point under the stars, this was an excellent concert, so I've heard. Thanks, again Jimmy.

Review : The show on Saturday night was FABULOUS! The mid-afternoon rain did not stop the die-hard parrotheads from tailgating and having a grand time. Jimmy and the Coral Reefers never sounded better. The band was tight. Jimmy looked great. It was great to have an acoustic portion of the show. Even though it was a sold out show, Jimmy gave you the feeling of an intimate performance. And what a better way to end the concert during the holiday season than with "HO HO HO AND A BOTTLE OF RHUM"! Thank you, Jimmy and Coral Reefers, for a wonderful early Christmas present! Truly a memorable experience that will last into the new millenium.

Review : Jimmy was energized during this show....Maybe because he's on vacation now; maybe because it was his home venue. Clearly, it was the best show that I have ever seen Jimmy perform in the 25+ years of being a Buffett phan. From Stars on the Water, to Migration and Growing Older but not Up, he clearly was in an upbeat mood. He capped off the night to our delight by closing with Ho ho ho and a bottle of Rhum. I can't wait to see what's in store for us next year with the coming of the millenium in 2001. The trip from NH was well worth it. Thanks for an awesome end of the season Jimmy! Lea

Review : Jimmy Buffett is a true entertainer!! I flew from Denver to see the show and met up with a friend from Michigan. This was one of the best times I have had all year. We ended up catching Mac Mcannaly's show at Phillips on Friday and started early in the parking lot Saturday evening. The stage background was very cool and the song set list was awesome. I was glad that he played a good mix of old and newer songs! I want to thank Mr. Buffett for years of great entertainment and help us take life a little less serious. Buffett shows are like Christmas in my family, a true holiday!!!

Review : Phantastic, phun, and whatnot. I haven't seen the ol' boy since we were both younger dudes and I gotta say I was most impressed. I thought it was pretty cool that Jimmy acknowledged us "Lawn People" right off the bat. I loved his energy, his love of doing his job, the band, the company of all my fellow Parrotheads, the rain before the show, the non-rain during the show, and life its own self for several hours on that special day. A large time. Thanks Jimmy, Coral Reefers, and all you Parrotheads, everywhere. Peace, ya'll!
