Well, I've seen JB twice this tour and I've enjoyed a few
more on RM...RM is great but it does make me wish
he'd mix up the set list a bit more. I know most people
only get to see him once anyway...call me greedy :-)

When he comes back out in July though, the has a few
songs that aren't working. The show is awesome but
really tapers off toward the very end

Island doesn't seem to be doing much, and If It All Falls
Down is nice, but not as the closer of the main show. I'd
love to see Brown Eyed Girl moved out of the encore to
close the show and IIAFD replace Island. Slow Boat To
China makes for a fast run to the parking lot for a lot of
people. Maybe that's the point, but the end of the show
could use improvement.

Maybe then we could hear Fruitcakes or Love and Luck
as part of the encore again. Or maybe even I will play
for gumbo. I'm surprised, but I'm missing that one a lot.

Just got back from the Pitt show. WOW, it was
great. Took a 1st timer and he already said he would be back next year. The band was tight and Jimmy had his usual wit with the audience. Still miss Fingers though. It will be interesting to see how much the set list will change for Sat. I would hope to see a few different songs.

Thanks for a great time to Patty ,Dan,Sue,Rose and the rest of the crowd on the awesome limo bus!

See you at the party tonight!

Phins Up,
Rob

I guess I'm showing my age but I liked the Slow Boat close - I kept expecting him to burst into a real soft shoe!

I really enjoyed that show tonight at star lake. I agree that playing slow boat to china allowed a quick getaway to the parking lot. I was one of them. The show was so awesome. Well does anyone know where in pittsburgh the hemisphere dancer is?

apt.toni.....

Sorry I wasn't online last night for the concert. I actually had a REAL LIVE date! But I WILL have the room open Sat night. A PHriend in south PHlorida just informed me he bought me a bunch of booze. Set it up with the local ABC store...I'll be picking it up today. (Tequila, Absolut, and a 12 pak of Corona!) Gotta love this PH PHamily!

So I hope to see you Sat night. Another Sat night and I ain't got nobody (or is that no BODY )....but I'll have PLENTY to party with!

<:-) Fins over my head!

Got a Caribbean soul (Karenbnsol ?) I can barely control....Karen

Well this was my 10t year at starlake seeing Jimmy and I must say this show was lackiing alot!
My feeling is the opening of the show was way to slow and everytime Jimmy got the crowd up and going and into the show he would slow it down and lost the crowd. As for his part I thought Jimmy was not into the show much at all, only once when he went down into the crowd for a few minutes were the only signs of live from him. Hope next year is better that this one was, need some reason to stand in the cold for tickets

Wow! Jolly Mon!!! What a nice treat, but I wish he could play it at normal speed. Sounds like he needs to run to the bathroom or is in a race or something...

I have to disagree that it wasn't a good show. Its the best jimmy show i've ever seen and i'm sure saturday will be great too. The only people not into a couple songs such as island or if it all falls down is because they don't know the songs and they just want to hear cheeseburger. I actually liked somewhere over china as the ending although alot of people haven't. I thought the crowd that knew the song was really into it. The only prob i had was permanent reminder and holiday back to back. It seemed to slow the crowd a bit but other than that the crowd was great. Finz Up and cya all Saturday. ~~^~~

The songs from OTSTL and the song If it all falls down were great to hear. There were a lot of slower songs but I loved it. It was the best set I have seen in 7 shows. Everyone deserves to see a Jimmy concert but if last nights songs keep some people away, keep doing it Jimmy.aybe Clint will pick up the beat a little Saturday. See you in the 7th row.

The crowd was into it and everyone I know had a great time...You can bet I'll be there Saturday! I brought some Buffett virgins to the concert and I made life long fans!

Fins up, Parrotheads,

Saw the show and loved it. All of the people around us were into it. We took two Buffett
Virgins and they were talking about coming
back next year as soon as they got into the
parking lot and saw the costumes. The show was great. Enjoyed all of the SYKBH and also songs
that I haven't heard live before. The only song
I missed was Pencil Thin Mustache because of the
great audience participation, and because I have lived it. Island was a knock out. Knees of My Heart and Great Heart were wonderful. Off to
See the Lizzard was great fun. The dancing on the stage for Gypsies in the Palace was a riot.
Didn't know Peter could dance like that.
Jimmy was dancing several times, bare feet and all. Buffett Vigins kept saying," That's a great
song." If It All Falls Down was great, with Jimmy
reminding all of the crabs on the internet that
he can charm a crowd. Twist and Shout was a great crowd pleaser. Loved all of the shots on the big screen and shots from the video, especially Jimmy smiling in the boat at the end of Who's the Blond Stranger. It really enhanced the music. I really feel sorry for people who have never been to a concert. It is a geat celebration of all the fun
things in life with great people. Dissapointed that we did not see the Hemisphere Dancer. Maybe we weren't there early enough. All in all, though,
it was a great time.
