Hi! am new to the forum but have been watching for quite a while.

We Just spent an awesome evening at a book signing with Marshall Chapman. She both wrote, and toured with Jimmy. in the late 1970's and 1980's writing songs like Last Mango in Paris, Perfect Partner, Smart woman (In a real short skirt).

Her Book "Goodbye Little Rock and Roller" is awesome, and at her book signing, she both sings and reads exerpt from her book. Telling you her stories as if she was talking to an old friend. And giving you yet one more insight into Jimmy. She is currently on tour and if she is in your area. Do yourself a favor go to see her. It will be a couple of hours well spent. and you will leave in awe of her talent.
Her tour schedule is on her website.

She opened for Jimmy at Jones Beach too. And right now I'm listening to her "It's About Time" CD, with "Love Slave" waiting in the wings.

her web site is www.tallgirl.com This is a good place to pick up her CD's and/or her book. The book is great and the companion CD that was put out at the same time is a must. Call The Lamas! is a fantasty song.

I finally got around to reading the book and listening to the songs on the companion cd. What a great time I had. She had some great stories and experiences.

I had to pull out my old vinyl albums and listen to them again as well as to Love Slave.

I have such a great respect for her talent. WOW! Perfect Partner now has a greater meaning too.

I saw her in Houston and Austin opening for Jimmy with Tim Krekel in 1996. Good stuff.
