From chicago, and will see the next four shows live, but does anyone agree Tryin to Reason should be a concert staple especially acoustic. by far, the come out song of the cd, tues. thurs. sats. thoghts? and the best close was during 98 when the majority was nautical wheelers.

Tryin To Reason was played in Pitt (6/22).
I agree that it does sound great , but I also
like the fact that jimmy is changing things up a little each night. i think that he palyed 6 different songs each night in Pitt.

Pamela--You asked earlier about what jimmy said. I listened on rm and he said something like We'll keep playing if you guys want to keep coming. He wasn't referring to the encore either he meant next year and more. Finz Up ~~^~~

This was my first Buffett concert, and definitely will not be my last. Next year I plan to get into full Parrotthead gear! Though it was stormy and ugly in St. Louis last night, Jimmy sure made it seem like a beautiful vacation. Can't wait 'till next year!

Alysia: Welcome to our world, phriend!! ;) Does your family know of your conversion yet? You may want to break it to them gently, we often are given that 'look' by non-"PH"s. But, then, we don't care! Stop in the SandBar and visit for a spell! ^^'s up!!

^^^^^^^^'s up.......
Jimmy was sure on top of things tonight. The weather was indeed horrible, however, it did not affect the show too much (other than speeding it up a little). Wish he would have played my two fav's "Migration" and "Everybody's Got a Cousin". See all you crazy Parrotheads in St. Louis next year. Till then, Phinzzzzzz uppppp...

To OHIO:

Thanks for the welcome to the phlock! Yes, my folks know of my "conversion"! They are very much in support of it as they knew that I never was of the "normal crowd". Hell, my dad went with me to see Jimmy last night in St. Louis - He's no Parrothead, but he had a hell of a great time!!! It's nice, at age 26, to finally find a people I belong to!!!!!!

CARRIBEAN SOUL:

Yes, "We ARE the people that our parents warned us about"! Of course, I could go on and on, but we all know the lyrics! It was quite fun to be able to sing WITH Jimmy last night, and not just a recording of him in the car.
You know, I think I'm gonna fit in nicely with the phlock. Y'all are my kind of people!

Alysia,

Although others have said it, "Welcome." I had my conversion 6 years ago and now I'm a bigger phan than the people who took me to my first concert. But, be careful, the relaxation and Hawaiian shirts can become addicting:)

BLACKJACK:

Yup, I know how addicting it can be. But I figure with all of the stress and crap that I have gone through in the last year, I am entitled to have some much needed relaxation!!!!

I became a diehard phan last year (Jimmy is now the ONLY singer I listen to presently) so my conversion started then. I guess on Tuesday, in St. Louis, I had my "baptism"in it!

Thanks to all the rest of the phlock who has welcomed me. It's nice to relate to others!

Great Concert! I hate coming back to reality. A little rain, thunder, and lightening won't slow down the Jimmy Buffett show. We were all wet and dancing out on the lawn. I loved it when Jimmy was singing volcano and added the line "was that lightning I just seen".
