We Parrotheads are an aging group. We will not be around forever to support the M'Ville empire. And while I raised Parrakeets, the brand just does not appeal to them.

I'm with your kids. I stopped caring about the brand decades ago. When I used to buy tour shirts, I looked for one that wasn't a ad for a beer or liquor (as I don't partake in either, but also generally don't give away advertising if I can help it) and that had the tour cities listed on it. Preferably including the Hemisphere Dancer.

I never was into the Margaritaville stuff. I'm in it for the music.

Everyone is different, and that's ok. And your point is valid that if the want to capitalize on things, they should do it now, but I for one could deal with a whole lot less Margaritaville stuff. But I'll take the albums. *shrug*
