Good for your fever and sleep, not so good for Kevin.Saltx3 wrote: December 25, 2025 12:11 pm I slept 9 hours and we had bacon & eggs for breakfast but now Kevin is saying his stomach feels "off". He's back on bed. I sure hope we don't need to move Christmas dinner to one of our guests' homes after I told them last evening I was well enough to host here......It's always sumthin'

We had a nice time at my sisters. Not a lot of fuss for the meal and such. But it sure wasn't easy to be there without E.

Re: MERRY CHRISTMAS! @ the MSC
Very quiet day in the Upper LH Corner.... just the two of us; one 'keet is home in SF and the other is visiting In-Laws in NYC. The first time in 38 years that at least one of them isn't home for Christmas. We flew down to the bay area last week and had an early Xmas with them and visited MrsSPH's family, including her 98 yo (next month) mother and 3 of her 4 siblings (plus fams). Quiet is good, I'm not necessarily the "the more the merrier" type.....
I'm sure it's tough, MsMod... I'm glad you have family to share the holidays with.
Merry Christmas!

It feels weird being the same age as old people….

Smaller family than I'm used to, but it was still pleasant.SeattleParrotHead wrote: December 25, 2025 7:25 pm I'm sure it's tough, MsMod... I'm glad you have family to share the holidays with.

Re: MERRY CHRISTMAS! @ the MSC
Christmas Day was wonderful.
Family came over. Jason brought over his "new" girlfriend, Anelle. He flew in from Chicago. She and him came two years ago, too. Last year, I don't think we had a party. Anyways, we just played some fun games, as chosen by my mom.
Then, I put on "The Five" and relaxed for a bit.
We had turkey as the main meal with gravy n' mashed potatoes. Suzanna brought over a broccoli cheese thing that was good. There was stuffing, some steak, and ham. I made a salad, but this was probably the 20th consecutive year that no one's eaten it
