If they can't (or won't
) transfer E's points, what is stopping you from using this old account with a CC change to one in your name...if only to use up those existing points? After they are used then go to the new one.

Actually they were quite cooperative. His points will be transferred to my account in about 7-10 days.. They were very nice!
