((((Penny)))))))). It is all so sad and I wish could wave a magic wand and bring him back. If I had that power, no one would suffer.
Finally relaxing after a day of doing returns at the mall about an hour away. My daughter and I started our day at her eye specialist. She has to go yearly to make sure some abnormal spots don’t turn into anything concerning. Another year of a “no news is good news” outcome so that is good.
Glad all turned out well for your girl.
And thank you.. I wish we all had a magic wand to bring him back. Can we all have that power?

It's basically for fitting large urns in. It's how my Dad and Mom were 'buried'. It's as solemn as a burial in the ground.

In a box in my basement. It's pretty disorganized right now, but there's probably a couple hundred photos and film strips in it.

Are you messin' with me? You wouldn't happen to have a friend named David, who goes by Russell (which is his middle name)?
Where is the
digital copy of the picture that you want to post? Is it on the Google photo share site or......?

The digital copy is on Google Photos. I can post them to my blog and link it if it's not showing. I've also got a few of the Hoover d*m, family at the airport, and shots from the sky. Mind you, I don't know who took these, unfortunately.
I do have a friend named David, but I'm not sure what his middle name is. Would you happen to know anything about those pictures?

(((Penny)))) What a title for a cause of death!
We are pragmatic about the end. Our bodies go to a nearby doctor college for research, cremated and returned ashes for free. It will be our last act of giving.
Yeah, it's a mouthful of causes... and it was ALL the things he complained about, and felt. His family AND my family AND the Marines would not have accepted anything except a burial, or cremation and then 'burial' in a columbarium. Which is the same as my parents.
Lynn's Dad is in a columbarium also at the Great Lakes National Cemetery just south of town also.

Penny - hope that beautiful sky was a good omen that your difficult chore today went as well as possible.
And I do love the ashes-jewelry idea... what a lovely way to always have E close!
The chore went okay. I was glad to have my sister there. The guy was running a little behind, but he was still nice. Got E a Marine Corps urn. And I already bought these little containers for me, Cameron, my sister, MIL, BIL, and nephew.
$2000 later for the cremation and death certificates.
Officially - this is what E died from... all the things he WAS suffering from:
Septic Shock, Acute Cholangitis, Obstructing Cholangiocarcinoma.
Those are sweet looking.
When Carol passed a friend of hers' husband volunteered to make an beautiful wood urns to bury some of her ashes in the ground and for me and my daughter as well to hold ashes for us.
