I'd take that.. it was snowing and and chill is 19 degrees.

I had a nice visit with the staff at the hospital, and a LOT of hugs. Several of my favorite nurses were on staff today. And had a fun lunch with my former boss and HR person. Lots of snow while driving home, but it's quieted down now.

I always think of you, Bill, when I see something about fishing. My son has become rather fond of the sport—he added a fishing boat to his collection of stuff this summer. Santa brought him an ice shanty and auger for Christmas, and he got other gear from family members. Kinda surprised that has become his latest obsession, but glad he enjoys it.

He won’t be ice fishing anytime soon, though. It is 60 degrees this morning, the ice at the edge of the driveway has melted (YaY!). We have a high wind advisory today as temps are supposed to go back to “normal” for January. I am kinda sad about it. I am ready for spring.
