Penny - I hope you were able to get that insurance stuff settled at the bank. It seems very odd to me. I've never been a beneficiary, but my Mom was on my Dad's policy, and the check was made out to
her! After she passed, I had to set up an "Estate Account", and all her remaining money was transferred there. And only then were any checks made out to The Estate of" not before...
My wonderful HR contact at his work has been helping me SO much, that she sent a message to "The Hartford" to please issue the check in my name since I'm his beneficiary. Let's hope they do. It wasn't my bank's fault, it was the issuing party, IMHO.
Glad you got your chore days flipped!!

Hi there! My brother from another mother, Bern in vited us to Cleveland to see Peter Mayer 12 days after we go to see Mac. Woo hoo!
I saw Peter would be in Cleveland. He is there in my birthday…..pretty tempted to call in sick on the 30th and make a road trip. I am already off for my birthday, and knowing you will be there makes the potential impromptu birthday trip even more intriguing. Gotta see how phun ticket money pans out. Always hate when money for fun things gets eaten up by house repair stuff.

I took a musical road trip on my birthday once, Jimmy Buffett was nice enough to schedule a show for me in Las Vegas. It was 26 years ago, the first time I traveled out of NY to go to a Buffett show.

E and I went to Vegas (he hated The MGM), Chicago, Dallas, Tampa, St. Louis, and I went to Camden. And of course Red Rocks.

I think that's where we went to.

I wish I could, but that's when I'm moving and E's celebration of life.

Oh that’s right. I think Peter needs to move his tour to the Lone Tree then Bill and Anne and I can road trip west. How fun would that be?
