Thanks Penny.
We are all at the stage of loss, Linda. My condolences to Kevin.

Well, ChΓ’teau des Rabbitz is in uproar.
The rescue puppy has taken over.
He is a super happy, cheeky, mischievous little guy. He is running us ragged.
The good news is that we had our vet check him out and he is doing much better than the touch and go, do we euthanise him of 10 days ago.
More good news is despite malformed ears, he has one intact ear canal so has some hearing - originally it was thought he was completely deaf. It isn't much, but it will make his life and our training a little easier.
So, anyway, please meet Ajax:

Thanks.
We are a bit overwhelmed, right now!
Our plans were, at sometime in the future, to adopt a "senior" rescue and spoil it for the time it had left. We didn't want a puppy, we didn't want a working breed, we certainly didn't want anything with staffie in it.
Guess what we got? However, we simply could not let him be so poorly treated and then be euthanised. His disabilities are not is fault and he deserves better. So, now, we need to do our bit...
He will have a home, be fed, be loved and safe if nothing else.

I am GLAD that you understand his condition and that it's NOT his fault. THANK YOU!!!
