I don't miss it (sorry Kitty). You can take the other covers too. I'd rather here more Jimmy songs.

I always see in my mind Jimmy playing BEG in Hartford a few years ago, I looked at the crowd and thought, damn this is the BIGGEST party I've ever seen. The crowd was going nuts! I'll never be tired of seeing this tune live. Most of Jimmy's covers he makes his own.

Its a great song but there are so many better Buffett songs to be played at concerts. I like how Jimmy has mixed it up this year playing songs like The Wino and I Know and In The City.

Everyone remember that Senfield episode when Jerry's trying to decide between his girlfriend or the "voice" his girlfriend's belly button has.
BEG is [Kramer]played... sooooo played[/Kramer].
It doesn't help that I happen to love VM's original and that my wife has blue eyes. She always looks at me during the show expecting me to sing it with different lyrics.

BEG was never one of my favorites, but I still love Southern Cross.
One of these days I will see it too!

BEG....needs a well deserved rest from the setlist...I'm sure it will be back soon enough...
as for Margaritaville...I could never get sick of it...I love the song so much it hurts...I just wish he would always sing it with the lost verse so it lasts longer!!! :D

Never get tired of "BEG".

But I must agree with DoorNo.3, I am tired of Southern Cross! :-?

I've heard Southern Cross at the last 4 or so concerts.
To play "SC" and not "BEG" ...BIG MISTAKE!

Southern Cross could be replaced by so many songs that have
been neglected the past several years.

For instance-
-Tryin' to Reason
-Last Mango
-The Weather is Here
-African Friend
-That's What Living Is To Me
-Fruitcakes
-We Are The People

It was nice to here "changes" this year as well as "One Particular Harbour".

And I would absolutely love to hear JB's version "No Woman, No Cry".

If only Jimmy would play for 5-6 hours we would all be happy! :D

You missing BEG too?????
me too, at least I have more of an oppurtunity to see her

Awwww man.....I love you guys! And I miss you too!!! :(

But we'll see each other again soon, I just know it!

Obviously I'm rather attached to BEG...but I'd take hearing my BN buddies sing it over Jimmy any day! :D  I did miss it in the show but it was nice to hear some of the less "standard" songs in Vegas too.

I wish Jimmy would play like CSN&Y did in the concert I saw a couple years ago....over 3 hours straight with NO intermission/breaks. Would give him the opportunity to play many more songs.
