Oh well I guess. I'm just gonna have to play Great heart from a previous RM concert and pretend it's Live.

I am disappointed.
Me, too.
I even learned how to use the TR timer so I wouldn't have to stay up most of the night :D

Not me. I won't even listen to Buffett until the next tour starts. It snowed here so much I don't need him anymore to get me by it. I needed it tonight.

I know...but I wanted to hear it anyway.

Molly I sent an e mail about 10 hours ago and said that the world does not revolve around the 9 to 5 ers and that for those who live on the West or work 4 to 12 on the east would like to hear it and a taped braodcast would alienate us.

How come they dont care about the Hawaii people having to listen to most shows at 3:00 pm. I'd have to set an alarm.

Did you get an answer???
What about Jenny and the others in Australia that aren't getting that promised concert.
I know they were anxious to hear the show.

The weather in Honolulu right now is 75 (feels like 76), 64% humidity, 15 mph winds, and unlimited visibility - it's unfortunate that the range of hearing is not unlimited. Another mainland drawback. Jimmy Buffett No Ka Oi!

Since we aren't getting Jimmy, I'm going to bed.

I guess it's okay to be on late for records but not a live show? I'm so p*** at the logic and the more and more I think about it I'm not going to buy any live board CD's anymore from mailboat and keep my money.

All weekend I was looking forward to this, I was off Thursday and AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

It doesn't make sense to me, but guess it does to someone at RM

Hi.

I was looking forward to the live broadcast, up until this weekend I was under the impression you were going to go live. For many of us who work 4 to 12 or live on the West Coast, we are disappointed. With the snow we had in New jersey I was looking forward to this show after work tonight. Why not a live show for us who don't live in a 9-5 world and also a replay for those who do?

The response

We’ll try to offer a few broadcast times to suit everybody’s needs. What time would be good for you?
Coleman

My respone to that

Hi thanks for replying. If a midnight can be worked in for the east Coast that would be great. But I guess the live show is out of the question tonight and Saturday. Anyway thanks for responding

Well, that was nice enough, but still no help for hearing the shows live.
I still don't understand the reasoning.
Wonder if this was RM's or Jimmy's decision?

I cant imagine what Steve Huntington would sound like by Encore time(no offense Steve)  That may be the reason, the station would need to be staffed, when it usually isnt.

Goodman is singing Banana Republics right now.

Grrrr :pirate:

Darn, just got home from work. I work late at a newspaper. Been waiting for this Hawaii show all night. Got me through the day. Maybe Jimmy's trying out some of the new album material and is trying to keep it hush-hush. I think RM would have let folks know a long time ago that they weren't doing this show. Jimmy must have pulled the plug. Oh well.

Well, whatever. I don't care anymore. I've lost the tropical feeling. No more Buffett until a replay I haven't heard. I'll listen to my Zappa records for now.

Goodnight from the bitter cold tundra of the east coast, home of the 9 to 5 ers.
