But, for you, my friend, will a bootleg work for you?
You are also a pirate.
My CD's are not bootleg.. real mccoy with liner notes, etc.

Finished listening and think the self-titled album is great! Mac is a quite a good songwriter, and he wrote 100% of the album.
Acording to Macmcanally.com, many of his albums have yet to see the CD format, including those that contain the original versions of It's My Job and The City! So the ones that we're finding at the Dollar Tree along with Semi True Stories are most likely the only CDs that exist of Mac's albums!

Mac McAnally (Remastered 1999)
No Problem Here (Remastered 1999)
Cuttin' Corners (Very Rare, i've only seen one copy of this cd ever)
Finish Lines
Simple Life
Live and Learn
Knots
Word of Mouth
Sem-True Stories
Only Nothin' But the Truth has never been issued on cd. But, only Mac McAnally, No Problem Here, Word of Mouth and Semi-True Stories are the only ones that aren't Out of Print and the only reason they are still in print is because Mac sells them at his shows and his website. Live and Learn and Knots can be found on ebay for $.99 almost any day of the week. But good luck finding cd copies of Finish Lines, Simple Life and Cuttin' Corners for under $15 anywhere.

This is just tooo cool... thanks for sharing...
I feel very lucky and blessed to have all 3 of the ones I now happily OWN!!
His first one (CD) is amazing.. !!! This isn't exactly the thread to say this... BUT, with LTC and all, I haven't been much into Buffett, lately... (although, I do like the CD~~it just doesn't take me away on any mental vacations....) There was something quaint about being a PH in the 70's and 80's. His music took me to places in my imagination and I feel in love with his characters.
I don't know what a MacAnally follower is called, but after listening to his complete talent and story telling ability, once again I have something to live for!!! Birkenstocks, I have. Cowboy boots, I don't!
Yes, I got a GREAT deal with those CD's, but what really has happened to me is realizing that what I missed in Buffett is very alive and well in a man named, Mac Anally!!!
And as for you, Mason..... wdwgd&??????? Easy to flirt with you since you live 700 miles away from me. Email me your snail mail addy and off to my bootleg kitchen I shall go.
And to the rest of you who wrote, thanks for sharing!! cool. yes, very cool! copies, anyone?

BB, what a cool observation about JB's music, "taking me places and falling in love with the characters," I really miss that myself. I just got back from Maui and there are losts of island songs that would be great for Jimmy and it would be refreshing for his fans. Just look at what these type songs do when recorded by other artists. I think you stated it well and it would be great to get some of the wind, sails, surf, rum, tequila, beach, sun, fun, adventure. It would rock off the charts.
