Interesting comments from those who attended. Will miss JB this summer, no stops down here on the third coast! Listened to Radio Margaritaville for both shows and set list is one I couldn't complain about. Hope you all enjoy the shows. I'll stay tuned!! I'd rather die while I'm living than live while I'm dead! Fins up pholks!

Went to the show last nite and as always had a spectacular time. Jimmy just keeps getting better! Do think if you're gonna overdo the alcohol you're better off staying home and leaving the seat for someone who needs the entertainment more. Will die a JBuffet fan and
sing his songs for the rest of my life......

Saturday night was so disappointing!!! I went on thursday night and loved the setlist...but i didnt pay to see the same exact show on saturday. what the hell was buffett thinking. he needs to mix things up. he has so many good songs, why the hell would he play the exact same setlist!

need help and jan 43:
the big question is "are nashville and detroit in the same time zone right now?" if nashville is on indiana time then 4pm is 5pm in michigan--that would give him 3 hours to get to an airport AND ONE THAT HAS A FLIGHT TO DETROIT AT THAT TIME (unless it's a private jet)...even then he has to land in detroit (or the nearest airport to the venue) AND THEN fight the traffic to get to pine knob. i think he'd still be pushing it if even on the same time as detroit.

Went to both shows @ Camden and, yes, I think I enjoyed them enough for those of you who could not make it! Though Fingers and Mac are sorely missed, I thought Clint Black was more than adequate both nites, perhaps a bit better on Saturday, but certainly no slouch! Since Clint is more than likely doing these shows gratis, as a favor to Jimmy (and, or course, for the thrill of sharing the stage with someone who inspired him), you won't be seeing him at too many more shows, unless he happens to be in the area at the time and has a free night.
Phins UP! It's gonna be a great summer!

I loved the show Saturday night, been going to shows for a long time. Good mix in the setlist. I too like a little more variety if attending both shows, but as long as it is a good mix of old and new with some obscure thrown in I am a happy Parrothead. Thought Clint did a good job and wasn't overbearing. The band perfromed good as did Jimmy. The WDWGDAS was a poor bit (but I did love the subtitles), I think he should give it a rest for a little while.
Gypsies, We are the people and especially - Chanson Pour Les Petits Enfants
made my night. Haven't heard WE are in a long time live. Chanson is an excellent song.
Looking forward to the Merriweather weekend.

Got to go Saturday and loved it. I enjoyed hearing "Gypsies in the Palace" and Who's the Blonde Stranger?" and some of the other songs that I haven't heard recently (even if they hardly got any response in our area). And I do agree with WINO that WDWGDAS could be retired for a while. Besides, I know I tend to get tired of hearing just the obligatory hits whenever I go to a concert, regardless of who it is - to me it's more fun going in not knowing what to expect. But that's just my opinion. Anyway, still a great show and once again a good time was had by all. Now on to Merriweather...

Great show last night!! The band sounded really tight and upbeat! Club Trini as usual put on a good show before the concert. I do miss hearing Fingers and Mac, but Clint Black sounded great last night - much improved from Thursday. I think he was a little overwhelmed with the total parrothead adventure on Thursday, but he jumped right in on Saturday. The setlist was great and SOASOAS sounded really good though fingers was missed. I have been to 20+ shows since 1977 and this one is definitly in the top three! Wish I were going to more this year!

I've been going to Buffett shows for a while now and felt after going to Camden on Saturday 6/10, that Jimmy isn't going to be touring much longer. Don't get me wrong, the show was good, it just seemed as if he wasn't into it as he has been in the past. Whatever it is, I'll still be at Jones Beach.

Well, got pretty tuned up before show, and had a
better time in parking lot (Breakin' open the
pirate pinata)
Bought 4 fake tickets and got in with them, the
guys at the fence did not even check tickets, our
group snuck in 4 bottles of capt. morgan, case of
beer, and some Dickel whiskey, needless to say we
were floatin during the show. Only part that
really sucked was getting in and out of the
parking lot, Camden needs an expressway!
One part I hated was when everyone was leavin' the
young kids breakin bottles and inhaling the
nitrous balloons. Think I'm going to retire from
the concert trips, just too much.

Had a great time at the 6/10 song fest. JB nailed alot of old favorites.
Parked under the bridge and was lucky to get a spot right along the rail near the river and the breeze. I believe this is the best lot to party in by far.
It seems like the parrotheads keep getting younger and younger as I keep getting older.
Could have done without Clint Black.

Great show and a great set list. Parked near the river and over looked the Philadelphia skyline. Jimmy and the Coral Reefers were tight. I was thinking Clint Black would be overkill but he added a different mix. I am sure he won't become a permenant member of the band. Great mix of songs. Had a great time and am looking forward to Merriweather in August.

I listened to the show on Saturday and enjoyed it very much. Thought Clint Black was a nice addition and loved When My Ship Comes In. Jimmy sounded great. I agree with the post to Blackjack from Anonymous -- why don't the complainers and those who just go to get drunk go somewhere else and let more of us diehard JB fans who actually go to see him and listen to the music have a better chance to get good tickets. Last year we were on the lawn and the people around us were extremely annoying and weren't even paying attention to the concert. This year all we could get were lawn tickets again, so we'll probably have to put up with that same stuff.

I've only been to one Buffett show, and am going again tommorow, in Detroit!
I am worried about possible rain or storms! For those of you who have been there:
(a) How does the rain impact on the show/tailgate?
(b) Any other advice of what to bring - I am on the lawns. (My excellent parrothead outfit would be covered if I wore a rain coat!)
I am trying to think positive, but wondering if anybody whose been to a rainy Buffett show can offer advice!
