It's the oldie...the one Pee Wee danced to. Apparently it is supposed to be on the new album.

That is what i have heard also, i also hear that he is suppose to do a studio version of If I Had a Boat.

Now that is a song that i would love to hear tonight, right after or before Boat Drinks

I couldn't agree with you more on If I Had a Boat. That is just a classic tune and I love to hear him play it. Do you remember him playing that that at Chicago last year on Thursday night? That was the first night he played it on the tour. I didn't know what it was when I heard that night. The next day I found out what it was and when and bought Lyle's CD.

I catch your drift for sure. I really wasn't too out of it at that show because I had driven up from Indianapolis that afternoon and didn't have much opportunity to get to juiced up. But I definitely remember him playing If I Had a Boat and I was clueless as to what it was.

I just saw Lyle Lovett and his Large Band last Friday night. It was excellent. The venue holds about 2200 people. His band is very talented. Loved Francine Reed (sp)!!! They played for 3hrs straight. I could have listened to him all night.

You gotta love a guy the can write "She's No Lady, She's My Wife" (same record as "If I Had a Boat") and marry her 6 years later

I was just thinking, I never get tired of hearing Voclano live. I love the part at the end when he improvises the "put me down in...." I get the biggest kick out of that. I remember being in Cincinnati for a show and he said "...put me down in Cincinnati where this all began." Actually I think that was the show that was recorded for the "Tuesdays, ..." cd. Anyway...

It would either turn her into a fan, or get the few guys some time in jail.

Has anyone ever been to Mansfield, MA? The company I work for has its headquarters about 5 minutes from Great Woods. There isn't much in Mansfield to say the least.

Heard 'Tequila' at the WPB show ... yes, it's the old song. I wasn't all that impressed. I like it when the man SINGS. Lyrics are always the best, even for songs he didn't write himself. He just knows what's good!
I definitely LOVE 'If I Had a Boat' especially the Lone Ranger verse!
(And, yes, I know that's not the correct spelling of 'Desdemona')

Sorry to p*** everyone off, but I was just shocked when I asked for a copy (not even a cd... just the wav) and he said yes, if I had something for him... that's all.

Hey anonymous, don't you know nothing is free.

Anonymous, if all you wanted was the MP3's sent to you, you need to have something better then a Cable modem, cause it will take forever to send it to you. The Reason why i ask for something in return ( aka another show) is i have to sit in front of the computer, and let it load up and all, and that takes a long time, esp if you do every song of the show.
