Like I mentioned a couple of pages back in this thread, it's not just Dollar Trees that have these CDs. I found some at a dollar store called "Deals". So get out and check all of your local dollar/thrift stores.

The APB was successful...
I got an email from Beach Blonde, and she hasn't been able to visit BuffettNews for a while.
She says HELLO, and hopes the campaign is still alive! I will show her CaptainP's latest.
If anyone needs to ask her any questions, you can do so by PMing me if you're ok with that.

I now have three from the York, PA area! Below is an article that will be published in my local PHC's newsletter.
Free Mac, Free Mac, Free Mac
I heard thru the Tiki Drum Network about a small underground movement called “Free Mac.” This groups plan is to free all Mac McAnally CDs from obscurity in Dollar Tree stores. Since I am always thrilled by a quest, I joined on the spot and began my own search. Low and behold I found multiple copies of Word of Mouth, No Problem Here and the self-titled Mac McAnally CDs at a number of Dollar Tree stores. If anyone else wants to join, the membership is $1 for some excellent music. FREE MAC!
Keep the faith-JOHN

I haven't seen this thread in a while... and our fearless leader hasn't been around so we have no Free Mac organization!

I've been checking out most dollar stores i see in NE Ohio, but unfortunatley i've only had luck with one of them
I went to FYE a few weeks ago and asked if they had Mac, and the guy said he could ship it in but its like 20 bucks for the CD, and they didn't even have the one i wanted so i declined, but looks like the big record stores can ship in Mac on request . .. you can buy Mac from Best Buy also, but only online

At the local recycling/village dump on Shelter Island, there is an area where people put "useable goodies" that don't wind up in the dumpster right away........ The timing was right when I showed up to check and look for some nice findings....... There it stood.... A stack of 6 Jimmy cassette tapes from the early days......... All in great condition, I drove home and put em' in the glove compartment of the boat where the stereo/radio is....... Nothing fancy, just a cassette deck/am/fm radio...... But no one complained this past summer when we put one in........
