If you buy one pair of BORN sandals, it will be the last brand change you will make. Great style selection and unmatched comfort. You will never wear/buy another Birkenstock and they are popular for both men and women. If you have some lower back issues there will be an extra bonus in the wearing of Born. A female friend reccommended them to me 5 years ago and it was great advice. I gave it to you just like she gave it to me. My friends now all wear them and can't believe they waited so long.

:D Of course I do. I haven't been since the summer though. And only a few times then. i am a freshman and so I have no parking here at the college, therefore i have no car here. But I will look into the place at Folly beach.

:D How about puttting some tiddies on your feet :D http://www.tiddies.com/ A friend of mine says a friend of his started this company. IMHO flip flops are great if you are SURE you won't be walking far, if you are forget it!

Actually I just go to Kohl's and buy the best fitting Teva look-a-like but I often wonder what it would feel like to have tiddies on my feet. :P

Well, I made a decision today. I am getting a pair of Rainbows. I am having to order them online since the dealership didn't have my size in the color/style i wanted. I did try a pair on though and wow, they were comfortable. And I know people who have had a pair for years and years, so i know they will last. Well, i guess this is the end of this thread. thanks everyone for helping me out with this and it was just a fun conversation to have too. Thanks Everyone!

How 'bout some rope sandals! I call 'em Jesus sandals  They're really comfortable. Got them in a surf shop in O.B. (San Diego) , you could probably find a pair in your local beach bum community

Without a doubt, best investment I ever made was in Kino sandals. Once you break them in, they're the most comfortable sandals you'll ever own. Cheap, too!! :pirate:

I've wore out 2 1/2 pair of Birkenstocks over the past 12 years... we'll worth the money! Lot's and lot's of miles on them.
Still time to start a new life in the palm trees........

Havaianas

Post by ParrotHeadRob »

I liked this thread so much, I had to bring it back. I also have another suggestion. While I was on a mission trip to Rio de Janiero last week, I found some Havaianas flip flops really cheap. I bought 2 pairs for myself, and several others for gifts. After wearing them a couple of times, they are the most comfortable pair of thong flip flops I have ever owned (sure beat Old Navy's). They are extra thick and squishy, ideal for the beach or pool, and the prices aren't bad here either, I believe.
