Fribble wrote:You want my opinion on this thread? Well you're getting it anyway.

Why? What's the argument and why are we arguing with each other? Watch my Camden video, I may have been drunk (I know MAY HAVE?) but I meant what I said. We are all here for one purpose, to communicate with each other and to share fun times that may or may not relate to Jimmy Buffett.

Everyone has bad stories and bad days but the fact remains that hostility only breeds hostility. What good is getting angry what purpose does that serve? I know the only thing it does for me is get me more angry while others around me go "jeeze what's wrong with him? What's with the attitude"

Someone already said, and thank you JimmyDreams for doing what I usually do and say. Sit back relax have a drink.

Don't you think that there is enough un-necessary violence in the world right now? This is a haven for those who want to escape the everyday shitty environment we currently are living in and are bringing our children up in.

Listen to Crosby Stills Nash and Young "Teach Your Children" Listen real hard, theres a message there.

Read Dr. Seuss the Lorax, there is a message there.

Please don't fight here this is a non-violent area.

Remember in the words of Fribble WE LOVE MOTHER EARTH, well we should learn to love each other for who they are.

Peace.

Greg.
You said it Fribble!!! :D
Nice job buddy!!!

Hi All-
I am a huge JB fan - 23 shows so far and 6 more this summer. I don't respond often, but wanted to make this comment. Why do so many brokers get the good seats and sell them at outragious(sp?) prices when JB's true fans are shut out? I love Jimmy and will continue to go to his concerts - I just wish he would take care of his loyle Parrotheads. Seems like the right thing to do.

I just can't help but notice that there's a thread called "I really DO understand Parrotheads" and also one called " I really DON'T understand Parrotheads" at the same time! Jocularity, jocularity.

When people get shut out at ticketmaster, it's nice to know that there are good friends on this board that will help others out with tickets. I was able to get Vegas tickets last year through TSITC. I was truly grateful. We all have ticketmaster problems and/or situations that come up....but I know we are all grateful for the friends that we have in BuffettNews!!!

I don't understand someone questioning the number of posts I have or the time it took for me to get them. Maybe I have all these posts because I came in here being nice to people and developed many friends that I will go to bat for any day of the week and I know many of them would do the same for me.
Well said PH4..Some people have little to do!!! I wonder if he/she realizes that we are sick and tired of his whining also?

Really? In the grand scheme of things THIS is what bothers you?

Let 'em ask - it's a free country. Doesn't mean they'll get them. Most likely some of the folks asking are brokers looking for more to sell, but some may just be parrotheads who had no luck this year.

I would avoid value-based judgements - just because someone DOESN'T have tickets doesn't mean they didn't try.

And seriously - if you can't understand why people here would hope that others on these boards might offer them extra tickets at cost, then you don't really understand this place at all. Frankly if it were up to me stupid threads like THIS would never get posted by newbies.
