I've been to all the Vegas shows since 1997, so that's at least 8, but I haven't been keeping track. Sometimes, like this year, he comes here more than once. I hoping to branch out of Vegas soon and see him some other places.

Does anyone remember the show at Vernon Valley in NJ in the summer sitting on the side of the ski slope? I think the year was 81 or 82? That probably was one of my favorite shows. First time I noticed what has become the parrothead phenomonon. I resented being called a PH for a long time (don't like labels) until I learned about all the good work PHIP does. Now I'm a member of two chapters!

Yes Pat, I was there and I remember. I didn't find this post until after I started a thread wondering about it in the general topics section here

I have to admit, I remember my date more than the concert, right down to what she was wearing. But It was definitely at the Vernon Valley / Great Gorge complex ... my recollection is it was actually at the Great Gorge base rather than VV but I could easily be wrong. I also would have guessed it was a little earlier than '81 but I would love to know exactly what year it was.
