The Breast Cancer site is having trouble getting enough people to click on it daily to meet their quota of donating at least one free mammogram a day to an underprivileged woman. It takes less than a minute to go to their site & click on "donating a mammogram" for free (pink window in the middle). Their corporate sponsors/advertisers use the number of daily visits to donate a mammogram in exchange for advertising. Here's the website. Please pass it along to your friends.

One minute out of your day can help save a life....I have faith that we will all want to do that! Thank you ZD for bringing this to my attention!

I'm real fond of clicking on the rainforest site myself. Save ourphjrsaunt wrote:There are other tabs at the top that you can "click" on while you're in the mood. I like to click on the Animal Rescue tab every day too, in honor of all the critters who aren't lucky enough to have mommies and daddies.
environment. It's only a few seconds more to visit all the tabs.
Breast cancer, animals, hunger, children, etc. We should do our part.
This makes it easy!!!

Hi! I thought this was worthwhile.
We need those of you who are great at forwarding on info with your e-mail network. Please read this and pass it on. Peace and good health. It would be wonderful if 2003 were the year a cure for breast cancer was found! This is one note I'll gladly pass on. The notion that we could raise $35 million by buying a book of stamps is powerful! As you may be aware, the US Postal Service recently released its new "Fund the Cure" stamp to help fund breast cancer research. The stamp was designed by Ethel Kessler of Bethesda, Maryland. It is important that we take a stand against this disease that kills and maims so many of our mothers, sisters, friends. Instead of the normal $.37 for a stamp, this one costs $.45. The additional $.08 will go to breast cancer research. A "normal" book costs $7.40, this is $9.00. It takes a minute at the Post Office and means so much.
If all stamps are sold, it will raise an additional $35,000,000 for this vital research. Just as important as the money is our support. What a statement it would make if the stamp outsold the lottery this week. What a statement it would make that we care.
I urge you to do two things TODAY:
1. Go out and purchase some of these stamps.
2. E-mail your friends to do the same.
Many of us know women and their families whose lives are turned upside-down by breast cancer. It takes so little to do so much in this drive. We can all afford the $ 1.60. Please help & pass it on.
