Hopefully it was just a miscommunication/hiccup between team Buffett and team nugs.net. If you signed up and have a question about releases, i'd recommend contacting nugs.net's support.

We shall see what this Thursday night/Friday brings.

Edit: Vegas 2011 is now available on the main nugs.net site, not just the app.


For what it's worth, I downloaded the nugs.net app and noticed that the app offers one additional show (compilation of the Vegas 2011 shows). I'd imagine that offering is streaming-only.

I just updated the list with a note that compilation released on nugs is not the same as the one that was released on CD, DVD and Blu-Ray in 2012

Jimmy is planning on releasing 30 years worth of shows on nugs so there could be many possibilities not just recent encores on Margaritaville TV

I hope he releases the full show, as opposed to cutting some songs or combining a few shows to make a particular date actually be a compilation.

They said Thursdays but seem to have broken that.

Definitely a little disappointed. I thought we were getting 25 shows in October and we got 18. Hopefully they'll add more in November.

So I guess the 18 shows are all we are going to get? I wish Jimmy and Nugs had put out concerts that had not been previously broadcast on RM or Marg.TV

Very disappointed, but I hope sunlover is able to get those remaining shows from the virtual tours up on the server.

There well be more shows available on nugs as the original announcement stated that Jimmy was releasing 30 years worth of shows on nugs. My personal feeling is that the response to the shows being on nugs has been underwhelming due the fact that downloads have to be purchased. I am pretty sure the download pricing came as short of sticker shock to those who wanted to purchase shows especially the price for shows on CD for $23 per show. On top of the downloading prices the nugs service is $12.99 a month just to be able stream the shows online, although the first month was free.

We have become spoiled with access to the jokelben server in it's various incarnations over the years from it's humble start as an FTP server hosting just MP3 recordings of concerts to the current version run by Sunlover that includes not only audio but video recordings as well.

As for the backlog of shows to be uploaded, Sunlover will get things caught up as soon as he can, it takes a little time to create the audio uploads of each show.

As mentioned before, I recommend reaching out to Nugs.net with any questions.

I, too, am disappointed, and as urlcenter mentioned, maybe the sticker shock has dissuaded people from subscribing or purchasing shows.

I may buy 1-2 more shows on there that I have been interested in, in the event they decide to nix the whole thing (worst case scenario).
