Just heard Jimmy set sail tonight. RIP

Haven’t been here in years but just read on his page that he has passed. My first thought was to run home (here). Is it true?

It was announced on his website and social media channels about 30 minutes ago, sadly.

I remember listening to Tom Petty Radio the day he passed. It was sad. I imagine this weekends programming on Radio Margaritaville will change to celebrate Jimmy.

I’m tuning in now and no one has broken in with any news that I’ve heard.

My brothers and I are talking about this right now. Who knew the last time we saw Jimmy Buffett
was going to actually be the last time? This is a sad day.

so sad to read the news. So grateful for his music and life...

Glad I got to see him in concert, in person, at least once.

Sad new. Truly blessed I was able to see him as many times as I did. Haven’t posted in eons but as said above, the news brought me right back here.

So sad the hear this on the radio this morning. On Labor Day weekend too. Enjoyed all the concerts and will cherish all those memories. I will continue to listen my music collection and think of you and your family. Sail on Jimmy, you will be missed!

I've been worrying about this for a few weeks now as there was really no news. I'm beyond crushed. But I'm also so very thankful for all the fun and friends and memories that he helped create me for. I went to 108 shows but I wanted so many more.

RIP Jimmy, unquestionably the King of Somewhere Hot! Condolences to the family. You just felt that a person of Jimmy’s nature could/would carry on forever.
