My daughter is in 5th grade. Her first book this school year that her class did was Hoot. Of course, she had seen the move a while back. They really dove into the book, and we’ve been listening to the soundtrack quite a bit recently. She even told me that she caught herself humming some of the songs while they were going over the book.

We watched the movie last night, and seeing Bubba as the teacher brings a smile.

I know Jimmy is looking down and smiling, when he sees his work taught in school.

How cool is that?
