Hey y'all,
Glad to join this forum. I'm 23 and have been a fan of "old-school" music since i was 12. Huge fan of bands like eagles, bee gees, the temptations, pink floyd, and solo artists too, of course jimmy buffett, elton john, bob seger, etc... the list goes on. Anyways, was always a fan of Jimmy Buffett, but i only knew maragaritaville... it wasnt until recently (couple months ago), that i really got into Jimmy's music, and man oh man i love this mans catalogue, his music is just amazing when you get into more of his songs. I love some of his classics like "manana" "changes in latitude" "banana republic" "come monday" , and many others. I even saw jimmy open for the eagles in miami 2018, and at the time i only knew about margartiville, so thats the only song that i was hype for. Sucks i didnt know more about him at the time because looking at the setlist he played many classics. Anyways wanna say thanks for accepting me in this forum. Also P.S. im from Fl, grew up in Fl, go to FSU, and i know jimmy had a huge influence and presence more at UF than up here, but i spent alot of time at UF over recent years, and i always pass by the "swamp" (UF football stadium) and i always day dream about his concert with the eagles at UF in January 1980. Just wanted to know if anyone ever attended this concert, or even the one in tampa in 1980? Reason im asking is because i want to do a "little documentary" on his concert at UF in 1980 when he opened for the eagles, I have collected a cool itinerary of his and the eagles time at UF and feel like it would be cool to document his time at UF, i know he played at UF other years, but the memorabilia i have is mainly from his concert in 1980. And before anyone asks... No i'm not monetized, all my videos are for fun... anyways thanks !! preferably would love to do a quick 10-15 minute audio call to talk about your experience (if you are comfortable, thanks!!)
