Good morning & Happy Independence Day Bill @ the BN’ers!!

Heading to the pool at 9:45 this morning with some neighbors.

Good morning. We're having a bbq at the cabana by the pool. One year we had a pig roast, somebody rented a smoker and smoked a pig but he doesn't live here anymore so just burgers and hot dogs today.

It's just the 4th of July here, happy Independence Day to all of you there.
I'm getting ready to put on a dark suit and tie and go to a formal wedding outdoors in 33°C / 91°F weather.
I guess it could be worse, at least I won't be in a black tux like some of the men.
Hopefully there'll be a little cooling breeze coming off the lake.

We have a family cookout to attend this afternoon and not much else for the remainder of the weekend.

We spent a few hours at the pool before the crowd started showing up for the community event….2 food trucks. Foam machine for kids. DJ and karaoke. Back home and drinking a few home brews from the Carolina Cabana Brewery.

At 8:00 we’ll head to the townhome section where fireworks will be set off over the smaller pond. Life is good.

Picking up rental car now, and it's a bit crowded.

Then find a liquor store before getting to the hotel. It has a rooftop deck, so hoping to see fireworks.
