Hello ! We had rain off and on most of yesterday and now again today as tropical storm Chantal hangs around.
We are watching all of the Jaws movies (4 of them). Itβs funny to see clothes etc from the 70βs and how antiquated the scenery and props are
Not sure what weβll do after church today due to the weather.
Have a good day everyone.

Good moning, Linda. I read JAWS months before I saw the movie in a crowded Massachusetts theater. The crowd's reaction was incredible!

Once again, BEAUTIFUL pictures Mr. SPH!!
HIYA Linda and Bill!!
Partly cloudy here, and a few degrees cooler today. Leaving hotel in about 90 minutes to head to my old hometown to see my friend Karen... we were best friends for many years. Then to see Mrs. Parker, who lived next door to our family from 1958 to 1976 when I moved to CO. Her daughter Diana will also be there, and I haven't seen her since I moved to CO.
Then we'll drive around to see my old schools, and a quick stop to take a picture of the Joliet prison from "The Blues Brothers".
Then we'll drive to Kenosha Wisconsin for the night, which is closer to Lake Geneva, where's E's conference is.
TTFN!!!

Good morning. It looks like another lousy day, more rain in the forecast.
The rain had stopped when I went out yesterday. It started raining again while I was out and by time I got back to my car I was so wet I had to change into dry clothes when I got home.
Then we'll drive to Kenosha Wisconsin for the night, which is closer to Lake Geneva, where's E's conference is.
Is it on the Lake Geneva shoreline?
If so, watch out for "some stupid with a flare gun"...
(Yes I realise it's a different Lake Geneva)

Mr. SPH - Once again, thanks for sharing those gorgeous photos!
I hear ya about heat, though... I am NOT a fan of it, and the dog in that one photo seems to agree!
Penny - hope you had fun touring your old home locales and seeing old friends.
Enjoy the rest of your trip, livin' the leisurely life while E works!
LIPH - YUCK! Rain is bad enough... but hot rain somehow seems worse.

I went out earlier and when I was on my way to the park it started raining. Not as hard as yesterday but I didn't want to get soaked again so I went to the mall. While I was walking I saw two high school age guys coming from the other direction. One of them was wearing sweatpants. He had a hand down his pants. Is that something new, walking around in public playing pocket pool?

Not sure what other Lake Geneva shoreline there is besides Wisconsin? But I used to come the town when I was a kid. Looking forward to it!

I had the BEST times with my former neighbor, her daughter (we were like sisters), and my long ago best friend. Her Mom will be 93 in September. She remembered my birthdate by one day She remembered SO MANY things.
