Last MONDAY of July at the MSC

Post by Saltx3 »

Good Morning!

Seems all the neighbor kids have also figured out it's just too dang hot to be outside. The pool parking lot has been pretty empty the last 3-4 days since the water temp hovers around 90.

Off to chair yoga then annual PCP visit. Recent bloodwork shows my thyroid level is too high, 6 months ago it was too low, 6 months before that too high. Good thing I kept my old dosage pills since I'll probably go back to them.

We may venture out to Ace Hardware. It's time (every 3 months) to change AC filters & get one of our gas bottles filled. Oh the excitement :)

Good morning Linda! :)

No errands for me today. My adventure is to start on our closet. There's some boxes and tote bags on upper shelves that haven't had any attention in years. Time to throw more things out.

Another toasty day close to 100 again.

E just left for work, I made his thermos of coffee, and a breakfast sandwich. :)

That's all I got this morning.

Do you ever have meetings with someone that you dread meeting with?

That’s my 10:00 meeting today. Ugh.

So, I'm cleaning our closet, and found these gems. :D :D They're a bit discolored, but they made me smile. :D :D

I drove by the park this afternoon, there weren't any cars in the parking lot. Smart move on a day like today.

I stopped for gas on the way home and when the tank was filled I got a message on the screen telling me to see the cashier for my receipt. I went inside to get my receipt and there was a woman in front of me on line. She had a snake tattooed on the back of her neck and she bought 2 packages of chewing tobacco.

That's ridiculous. Snakes can't chew tobacco.

Nice shirts, Penny!

Currently 5°C / 41°F here. Miserable and drizzling.

I'll take 91°F / 33°C every day of the week! It's almost the perfect temperature. It's 110°F / 43°C to 115°F / 45°C days that get me. Having said that these colder and endlessly drizzly and dank days that stretch for a week at a time do my head in!

Well waiting for white counts to go up. Not eating solids but all in all it's been a week since chemo and stem cells 6 days ago. Hope the count goes up within 7 to 14 days.

Im hanging in there.

Today was another day to get something cleaned - it was the shelves in our closet. I took out 7 trash bags, and one box. And it looks SO MUCH better. :D It was mostly sheets and comforters that I cleaned up. And tossed some. I'll take tomorrow off from cleaning. I hurt from climbing the step ladder a zillion times.
