Fall in the Air WEDNESDAY @ the MSc

Good Morning Campers!
Woke up to a dreary fall morning complete with a fine light mist in the air. Supposed to see the sun break on through & the temps rise to 70 by noon but sure looks & feels like a slow process right now.
Lynn came home this morning from a 40 hour/2 night stay at the hospital due to her asthma kicking in along with some kind of lung infection that got
ahold of her. She'll continue to recoup at home with the same meds & self breathing treatments she was getting at the hospital. Hopeful her trajectory continues upward.
I got to visit my cardiologist this morning & a thumbs up from him so there's that.

I have to take a ride to Total Wine. Sierra Nevada Oktoberfest is out but the supermarket only has 12 packs and I don't want 12. They do a collaboration with a different German brewery every year and I want to try this year's version.

Another day, another something to clean or organize. Just not sure what, yet.

We're in the 90's again today and tomorrow, but next week at this time it's low 70's, upper 60's.

I had to make a quick stop at the supermarket before going to Total Wine. I went grocery shopping earlier and when I got home I checked my receipt, like I always do. One of the items I bought didn't scan so I brought it with me and went back to the store to pay for it.

Total Wine had Sierra Nevada Oktoberfest in the single section so I bought one, then grabbed 5 other singles to make a 6 pack. One of the others was a pumpkin beer. I'm not a fan but I bought one anyway, my annual gourd beer.

The Vegas Golden Knights put single game tickets on sale today so I'm almost all set for my annual hockey game in the desert. I don't have a plane ticket yet.

Hi there! We drove an hour in mist and fog for wings. Three women were setting up for a meet and greet with future Snapple workers. Anne asked them about the setup and was given stuff including 2 pair of socks with the Pittsburgh Penguins logo. I said give them to our cat sitter who is a fan. Anne remarked that she only has one foot(diabetic) I countered with , "Then, they will last longer."

She shared that with the women and they loved it.

Busy day. Watched gunsmoke, golden girls, looney tunes yogi bear and tom and Jerry. I need a vacation. Oh yeah. Also had an itch on my left leg. No. It was the right leg.

Ken, sorry to hear about Lynn. Good thoughts coming your way for a quick recovery. Kudos for a good test result for you.

Kevin went to Scott’s for their weekly “Breaking Bad” binge watch.

I food shopped and then spent 3 hrs at the pool. Several girlfriends went to different beaches to check out the waves as the hurricane stirs everything up. No one is to be in the surf but there’s always someone…..

Today would have been my Mom's 99th birthday... I really miss her. My guess is she'll be planning next year's big heavenly shindig starting tomorrow...

Ken - glad your results were good, and I hope Lynn recovers quickly. Asthma can be brutal.

Larry - I would have brought my unscanned item too. Glad you were able to get only one bottle of the Oktoberfest brew to try instead of 12!

Linda - several of our beaches here in MA were closed to swimming because of Erin-danger also... but even with the rain, I bet some idiots were ignoring the order.
