There is ALOT of beach flooding going on in North Carolina....not too much here (yet?). No one is to be in the water but.....well, you know, there's always someone who doesn't following instructions .
Anyway, today is another day of not much going on. The library system is closed for "staff development" so there's no yoga. We have our church small group meeting tonight at 6:30. We will probably go to the beach - just to check out what's happening -- or to the pool.
Today is bathroom cleaning day. OUR bathroom cabinet (under the sink) hasn't had much attention in a while, so time to get rid of some things that are probably outdated or no longer used.
That's my adventure for today. Hot AGAIN. Ready for cooler temps and rain tomorrow.
Was watching other cities and state news on Paramount app. I've come to the conclusion that:
1. People are stupid from east to west the same
2 weather reporting is same
3. We are doomed
4. The lite segments are dorky on every station.
The freedom to read is essential to our democracy.
Hi there! Anne meets with old ladies at MacDonalds on Thursday, and I tag along. I tell a joke or 2, but am running out, so I looked at some old Playboys I have. After scanning two pages of party jokes, I found one I could tell. I told it today. They loved it.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.
Good late afternoon/early evening, depending on your point of view.
I was thinking of going online to see if I could get a decent ticket to tonight's Pelicans game but I didn't sleep well and I don't feel like sitting at the ballpark for 2 1/2 hours. Maybe I'll go to one of the games over the weekend.
I went to the beach for a little while, I still didn't see any rough surf. I walked out to the end of the fishing pier and there weren't even any swells rolling in, the ocean was flat as a lake.

We were at MBSP for 2 hours after lunch and, like you, we didn't see anything out of the ordinary. Except at one spot near where we sit you could see that the surf had made a HUGE trench all the way up to the dune.

Years of rescue and fire brigade experience tells me that Point 1 is especially true during severe weather and full moons.

Couldn't agree more.

Good job, Bill.
No ocean waves for me, just cleaning two bathrooms. I filled an entire trash bag of old/expired products and now I have SO MUCH room under our master bathroom sink.

All four are astute and absolutely TRUE observations!
