To some of the beach hounds & pool puppies I imagine I can say good luck IN the water!

Good morning Ken and Bill!
Slept in till close to 8:00, which was nice.
Making some breakfast, doing a load of laundry, and chili cheese dogs for dinner. Seemed appropriate for Labor Day.
Looking at the house we'll be staying, at the end of the month in Galveston.

Hello All!
We brought Andrea (TailgatingPH) home from the airport, unloaded and went to the beach (sans bathing suits but not what you are thinking) just to sit and enjoy the sun & sounds of the surf. We went to Murrells Inlet with neighbors, walked around and then had dinner at "Dead Dog Saloon". Good eats and the band from 7-10 was AWESOME!
We're going to walk to the pool to see what the water temp is and then wait until after lunch to hit the beach for a few hours -- need to wait for the long weekend vacationers to leave town.

Good morning.
It's September 1 and Oktoberfest starts September 20. I have 2 Oktoberfest beers in the fridge, I can drink them this month. I also have a pumpkin beer in the fridge. I'm not a fan of the pumpkin spice craze but I usually drink one or two pumpkin beers every fall. Since it's still summer, that one will have to wait a little longer.

After becoming empty nesters we made a couple trips down there staying in Surfside Beach and would purposely come down the week after Labor Day which made for additional savings plus fewer beach goers. But when ventured out traffic around Myrtle was busy enough!

The family gathering yesterday is now history. The middle daughter came loaded for bear and of course it was directed at me. It came out of nowhere as we have been on an even keel for awhile now, so it took me by surprise and instead of deflecting and not reacting, I lashed back out at her in an ugly way. At least I gave her something to discuss at therapy today
Not proud of myself but I'm exhausted. Now I'm going to be calling MY therapist for an appointment. Smh.
