Good morning BN. This has been the warmest, driest September I remember. We should get some rain this week. My well needs it.

Good morning Bill and BN!
Had a great dinner last night at Bonefish Grill. Food is always good, but waitress was amazing. Writing a big thank you about her this morning, sending it the Corporate office.
Nice cool morning, heading to mid 70's.
We are heading to a birthday party this afternoon, for a friend who was once a bartender at Lone Tree brewing. And it's being held at another brewery, not far from where I went to high school at Columbine.
Have a great Sunday!!

We went back to my dad's house yesterday. Took some pictures and some of my Mom's coin collection. A neighbor came over and said he's been keeping the grass cut and he could clear out the vegetation in front of the house if we gave him permission.
He said he would also work up a quote for clearing out the entire yard that Dad had let get completely overgrown. He's also interested in buying the house when we're ready to sell, first we need to get a company to come in and clean everything out.
Today we're going to have lunch with Bryan's mom. Tomorrow is my appointment with my therapist, finally.
Thanks so much, Linda for the card. I appreciate you thinking of me!

Glad to hear some "positivity" took place yesterday Tammy as you weren't able to cheer your "Luckeyes" on.........
Phriends of mine had an aunt pass in which they were the next of kin, about an hour south of where they live, and had to deal with taking care of her disaster of a house. Fortunately for them a neighbor did the same as in your situation. Did some upkeep until they were ready to sell the home, plus gave them a decent offer when indeed it went on the market.
Good luck with your situation & your appointment tomorrow

Good afternoon. It’s a hot sunny day in MB. But, the wind is blowing and with the (Screened) windows open and ceiling fan on it’s beautiful in the Carolina Cabana.
I slept well but within 30 mins of being up and mobile my cough returned. I still sound horrible, my head is congested and my ears hurt. Hopefully it doesn’t get passed on to Kevin…he’s a BIG baby.

Hi there! Sorry to hear you are still sick, Linda. I .made the mistake of blowing off my flu shot and got bronchitis three times that year. The anti-biotic has steroids which I can't take.
I'd sell that house even if low balled< Tammy, just to get out from under it.
I had a window painting project go poorly Friday and working on a Christmas display I dropped a screw that I couldn't see. It was where a vehicle could park. Today I took a floor magnet, swept over the gravel and found it. I'll take that as a win.

Or maybe a COVID test? When I had COVID last year when I was in Ireland, it manifested itself as a really bad head cold.

Same from me too! Dealing with parents' homes is NEVER fun... ((TAMMY))
@Penny - Any of the Bonefish Grills we have been to during our various travels have been great. Unfortunately, there aren't any near us. How very thoughtful of you to write corporate about a GOOD experience! They probably don't get a lot of mail like that.

It is slowly edging away from wintertime here. The weather has not been great, blowing a gale for days, misty, miserable rain for what seems like weeks. At least it has started to warm up. Having said that, we have a frost warning for tomorrow - I guess the frost fans will be in full swing in the morning.
Our orchard has burst into life with the fruit trees in bloom and the grape vines have had bud-burst in the past few days.
The big vineyards are all coming alive and the wet weather has turned everything green (it's mostly weeds but that's ok).
Surgery tomorrow, so today is the last opportunity to get some maintenance done - so busy, busy, busy!

It was too hot and dry, and now it’s too cold and wet….
Let’s hope you can have a comfortable in-between for a while.
Good luck with the surgery!
