Good morning Bill and BN! :)

Chilly morning for the first day of Fall. Rain later and tomorrow. Snow predicted for the mountains.

Just working on some laundry today. Going to call a company called "1-800-Got Junk" that is supposed to help emptying Cameron's storage unit. But it's supposed to be raining all day, so I'm going to try and change it to Wednesday.

Had a good time at our friends birthday party yesterday. :)

Have a good Monday!!

Good Morning BN'ers!! Welcome to Fall [smilie=gt-happyup.gif] We are dealing with temps staying mostly in mid 70's this week so definitely good with that.
This weeks extracurricular activities outside of work include having 3 large trees taken down tomorrow, a liver fibro test on Wednesday, and a blast from the past with a Kool & The Gang concert on Friday. So I need to dust off my boogie shoes by the end of the week. 8)

To show you my lack of artistic abilities & knowledge I had to google leaf rubbings. Was sounding kind of kinky for a minute there :o

Enjoy your Monday everybody!

Good morning fellow BNers.

Saturday was the official start of Oktoberfest. I have 2 Oktoberfest beers left in the fridge so I'll drink one tonight and save the other one for later in the week.

Back in July, the Mets had the best record in baseball for a couple of weeks. Now there are 6 games left in the season and they might not make the playoffs. They're tied with Cincinnati for the last wild card spot but I think Cincinnati has the tiebreaker. Typical Mets

Got ya trumped:

The Tigers led the Cleveland Guardians by 15 ½ games on July 8, by 12 ½ games on Aug. 25 and 8 ½ games on Sept. 11. Yet that advantage is almost all gone.

Hello Everybody!

Still sounding like a 3 pack/day smoker with my voice and horribly sounding cough. At 3 am I couldn't stop coughing so I spent the next few hours on the sofa and managed to sleep off and on. I've been taking cough & flu meds (even though I've not yet had fever or aches). This is day 6. I tried to call PCP but it's Monday morning so the phone line but was on hold for 10 mins. I sent an email - myPCP is out all week and I was told to call the main # and schedule. I'm now back on hold -- so far 8.5 minutes. I do NOT want to reschedule my surgery on 10/8 !!!

I've got nothing going on today since I sound horrible.

Finally!!! Today at 2:45. Kevin will go solo to get our friend home from the airport. I think he wanted to go to Dr with me. He thinks I have typhoid fever or something like that. He worries too much and he’s a Hypochondriac like his mom was. A not so good trait he passed on to our daughter Bridget.

Glad you're getting to see the doctor! I had to chuckle a little at his diagnosis, tho.. :P

My only baseball story.

A YMCA director took his family to the Pirates game which is over 2 hours away. The pirates are the home team in western PA, but they went to root for the Marlins because J.J. Bleday is a hometown boy. I taught him and his siblings and worked with his mom. J.J. struck out twice.

Just wanted to pop in and wish everyone (except Rabitz) a Happy Fall! He gets Happy Spring instead!
And since Rosh Hashana started at sundown - a Happy New Year to those who celebrate!

I have a regular old cold (Kevin isn't sure the dr has a real medical degree). Anyway, cold meds & wait for the symptoms to go away. He said the cough could hang around for up to 8 weeks.
