Good morning, all! :)

Today is also National Key Lime Day. :D My taste buds love both pancakes and Key Lime Pie. I prefer a waffle, but pancakes will always do.

E usually works from home on Friday's, but he has a lot to do before our vacation starts on Tuesday, so he went it.
Yesterday they had a "Grand Opening" of their new offices. SO PRETTY!! :D

Have a good Friday!! :D

Good Morning !!!

I made it through book bingo and chair yoga yesterday afternoon....thankfully.

I had a coughing spell at 3 a.m. but was thankfully able to go back to sleep in my own bed.

I have another library event this afternoon from 1:30-2:30. At 3 our painter (who also has a home reno business with his brother) is coming to look at our standard fiberglass builder grade master walk in shower. We want to add sliding doors. We're worried about what's behind the walls since spacing of wall studs in the community homes seems to be erratic.

Have a great Friday y'all

Kevin loves to make pancakes but we had those yesterday for breakfast so today it will probably just be cereal.

Good morning Penny and Linda.

I did laundry this morning and the dryer's running now. As soon as it shuts off and I put everything away I'm going out for lunch. One of my credit cards is running a deal this month, 10% cash back at Outback Steakhouse. I'll have a steak, a cold beverage and maybe some cheesecake for dessert.

Sounds like a good deal, and a good meal, Larry. :)

Good late Morning Gang! No pancakes for me. I'm guessing since I was a kid I've probably only had pancakes a dozen times at the most. Has nothing to do with me not liking them. It's just 99 times out of 100 I'll choose an omelette or eggs over pancakes if the choice is mine.

Tonight's the night we'll "Celebrate Good Times, C'Mon!!" with what's left of Kool and the Gang! From what I understand according to Wikipedia the only original left in the band is the bassist, Robert "Kool" Bell. Which begs the debates, almost heated in many cases on message boards. Is it worth it to go see these "tribute bands" playing along side quite often a sole remaining member of a band you enjoyed from yesteryear or are you a plain fool for doing so? Personally, I'm gonna leave that call to the concert goer. You wouldn't be attending the show if you weren't a fan of that bands musical catalogue. If you feel the performance is gonna be worthy & you'll enjoy the songs live, go for it I say!

Enjoy your Friday everyone!

Same for me on the eggs, Ken. :) And I hope you enjoy the show!

Hi there! WE had blueberry pancakes at Bern's today. The eye doctor was concerned I have wet MD, gave me another shot and I have a follow up in a month.

I'm going to have to wait a little while before I go to lunch. I went outside and there's a rather large vehicle from Horry County Fire-Rescue-EMS in the parking lot in front of my building. It's sitting there with the engine idling and nobody is inside but it's blocking 3 cars and mine is one of them. I can't leave until they leave.

I've seen several commercials lately for that condition. Hope it's not. :(

We have that too... Shrove Tuesday... but it has pretty much been replaced with the debauchery known as Mardi Gras!

Jim used to make pancakes at least once a month when the kids lived at home... (he has always been the "weekend breakfast chef - still is) but now they are rare. Most recipes make too many for just 2 people and cutting them back is never quite the same consistency. We tend to do French toast as a treat instead now - but generally weekends = eggs!

Hope your follow-up brings good results...
My mom suffered from MD, but I'm not sure if it was wet or dry. I do know she did NOT get any injections.

Who ever said. "Beats a sharp stick in the eye." I'd like to stamp on their feet.

No pancakes here today. I had a PT appointment this afternoon so I went to work and then went to PT and then went back to work to finish the day. It's my Saturday to work tomorrow, but at least our kick off is at 3:30, so I'll be home in plenty of time.
Today was particularly hard for some reason. Everything seemed to irritate me me and it was all I could do to be polite to the customers. We also have been very busy because it's the local high school homecoming tomorrow.
Have a great weekend everyone.

I've always said "Well, it's better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick."
Mrs SPH has been known to say "well, like you always say, it's like a stick in the eye."
