Final September SUNDAY @ the MSC

Good Morning Everyone!

We had some rain overnight and the sun has been in and out from behind the clouds. It doesn't look like we're going to get too much hurricane weather other than some rain.

Had a nice visit last evening with some neighbors -- had some drinks & birthday cake. I made it through without too much coughing but was up at 5 with a coughing fit so I moved out to the sofa. No church for us -- no way I can sit that long without coughing and I don't want everything thinking I will make them sick. Kevin wants me to call the dr in the morning - he says I don't sound any better and I've gone through the pack of cough/congestion pills I bought last week. My neck and shoulder are really sore from tightening up from the coughing and I've got a pounding headache (not from the birthday drinks :). Anyway......nothing going on here today.

I'm with Kevin on this one ((((Linda)))).

I fell asleep on the couch last night, after watching the newest episode of "The Floor". It's a fun show. :) Between couch and bed time, I slept for over 10 hours. :D

Washing sheets, and folding clothes I washed Friday and Saturday. E will be doing his packing today, and I'll do mine tomorrow. :D

A little cooking for breakfast and dinner, and that's our day! :D

Good afternoon.

Today is the last day of the baseball season and the only playoff spot still open is the 3rd wild card in the National League. The Mets are tied with Cincinnati but Cincinnati has the tiebreaker, if they win they're in. The only way the Mets can get in is if they win and Cincinnati loses. I'm not optimistic. Maybe I'll root for the Cubs, they have some former Pelicans on the team.

Hi there! Anne got a new phone at Best Buy yesterday, but it wouldn't open, so another hour drive to fix the issue. We had great patty melts at an old hotel with terrible acoustics. A group had 2 toddlers that kept cutting loose and loud.

That makes me crazy. When we were kids, you did not make a sound, or run around tables.

If anyone needed to know? I hate packing.. I picked out a few pieces of clothing that I'll pack tomorrow, but trying to fit things into one medium and one small suitcases makes me crazy. I know we'll be in warm weather, but we have to dress for nice restaurants, and then t-shirt restaurants. Beach wear and hanging around the house wear... Yeah. At least I actually pack less than I ever used to. :P

We couldn't do it as kids, so we did it at tailgates.

Spring is in full swing here at Château de Rabbitz.

Please forgive all the weeds - I've been a bit hampered by having one hand in bandages post surgery. I'll refrain from showing the orchard, it's a mess since it is peak weed growing season and I can't do anything that involves lifting or weight bearing. Next weekend I'll be on the ride on mower slashing the weeds—bandage or not!

Count me in with Team Kevin as well! You need to get to the bottom of this. Something is just not right!

I am definitely an "over-packer" too! But luckily most of our trips these days are a drive, not a flight, so it's not that big a deal.
ENJOY your getaway!!

Cincinnati cooperated by losing but the Mets choked, they lost 4-0. Oh well, hockey starts in a little over a week.
